1.0 release for Escape from the Darkness - Remod, it already has all the necessary files to play EftD so no other installations required. Installation instructions are in the description.

Installation :
Installation is simple, simply extract the eftd folder that is inside the .7z into your Half-Life installation folder (Where hl.exe is located, NOT inside any of the other folder such as "valve" or "valve_hd")"
Example would be "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life"
There should now be "valve" and "eftd" inside you Half-Life installation folder along with any other
mod/steam-related folders you may have inside.
Restart Steam, "Escape from the Darknesss - Remod" should be inside the Games list.
If that doesn't work somehow, create a shortcut of hl.exe, open it's Properties, add " -game eftd" to the end of the target bar.
Example would be "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life\hl.exe -game eftd"
The mod also adds simple detail texturing, if not activated yet, type "r_detailtextures 1" and its counterpart into the console.

Interesting, the original EFTD is one of my favourite mods...
When I play this (and your Poke 646 remods) with Xash3D there are grey bars at the bottom of the screen throughout the game. This doesn't happen in any of your other remods. Any ideas?
go to video options, and change screen size
If that was the answer I'd have done it already. I run all mods at the same resolution.
