This mod=Instant classic and could be made into a retail game if they keep working on it
They won't, they'd have to be paying Valve a lot of money for the engine use.

It could go well enough that Valve takes them on as an indie experiment. Perhaps someone to do another day of defeat game or a new series all together. Valve could get back into the "War" era with them.
