Elements Of Style features completely revamped gun play that will make you want play through the entire Max Payne 2 Storyline all over again. It does away with all the stale/boring same old gameplay featured in almost every Max Payne 2 Mod, and replaces it with powerful gameplay.
It also features new Super Kung Fu, that allows you to do combos, as well as launch enemies into the air, and even super attack your enemy to send then flying away into the wall with power attacks or even use 2 hidden super moves. ummm.....do u have to install the mod because i just downloaded it and i was trying to extract the files but it said the file was corrupt.Is this a bug or does it already install itself into the game.If its a bug,can someone help me??

Edit : I could launch the game with editor so you have to use the consol commands in-game and type in : "getclose combat" (without the ") and then you can select it as 2nd range weapon, then use use it with shootdodge key.
i am having a little bit of problems. i beat part 1 chapter 2 i beleive it is, and when it tries to load part 1 chapter 3, the game crashes and says something about glasses and bravaura(sp??) How can i fix this?
i downloaded elements of style version 1.5 but before it opens fully 100% a black screen comes and goes back to desktop screen with an error message "max payne2.exe encountered a problem",Plz. give solutuion hot to fix it
Can you fix the problem, that if the game's graphics are not all high it will crash? My computer is not so good that would run Max Payne with graphics all up so plz.

It happened to me too when I used winrar but I tried another program and it worked.

to fix that you need to download 7-Zip and then you extract them and done you can play

Turn the pixel shaders off before playing the level to avoid the glasses bug.

I have the problem too with 3rd level and bravuras glasses.
Despite the fact this mod is only looking good because of the pixel shaders...
... you have to turn it off in the options menu to make it play normally.
... just like all the other damn mods...
