Very early prototype build showcased at IGDA Baltimore/Baltimore Indie Games meetup at The Windup Space in Baltimore.
It only runs as a stand-alone executable and is not optimized in the least, nor are there instructions included. A quick rundown:
GOLD is your sole resource. If it drops to ZERO you lose. Firing projectiles and casting spells cost gold. Being hit by enemies costs you gold. Some enemies hit harder than others.
WASD - Move in cardinal directions
Mouse - Controls rotation.
Left-Click - Shoots fireball. Costs 1 Gold to use
Right-Click - Melee attack. Costs nothing. Moves stuff around.
Holding either mouse button will continue to perform attacks to spare you from clicking.
Q- Lightning Strike Spell. Shocks and stuns all enemies on the screen. Costs 30 gold to use.
E- Flame Strike Spell. Scorches all enemies, and burns them for a short time. Costs 30 gold to use.
Monster generators can only be destroyed with the Fireball attack. Melee attacks will do nothing.
