- Added "Super Trooper" enemy by Muelsa; he made the model, code, everything. I just added some tweaks to better integrate it into DP. There is an option in the DP menu to make Super Troopers randomly replace regular troopers.
- Added new models for the Battlelord gun and the trooper laser pistol, also by Muelsa. Excellent work!
- Civilians needing rescue now have an arrow over their heads making them easier to spot (arrow art by DanM)
- Reduced gore to more performance friendly levels (there's still plenty, though)

- Sticky tripbombs: you can now place tripbombs directly on monsters, instead of placing them on walls
- Added civilians and civilian rescue system (only for coded female civilian). She can walk, talk, die, etc.
- Added a large number of prop models, including vehicles, thanks to DanM and Black Rayne Studios. The vehicles and some of the other models have correct clipping areas because of the included clipshape map.
- Added upgrade items for granting the following abilities: increase max health, increase max armor, bleeding wounds, incendiary explosives, piercing bullets, and weapon stun. Currently, these items will not appear unless placed in maps.
- NOISESPRITE can now play a sound on activation.
- Some optimizations for Polymer.
- Improved Dukebike steering
- Improved look of the smoke gust effect
- Bots don't jump around so much
- Blackhawk helicopter can now be used instead of the standard Duke 3D one, for the helicopter effect

"Maintenance release" ? Does that mean that DukePlus is going to have a much larger update in the near future? At least I hope so. But, anyways.. This update caught me off guard. I mean, wow! It's been rough 2 years since the latest update release (until now, though.) Great work! I hardly can believe that this mod is over 5 years old. I used to spend time playing this during my upper-school years. Awesome stuff.

Well done mod. Adds many interesting features to the gameplay. Although I have a problem. I'm using HRP and whenever I pick up the Devastator, it appears I don't have anything (I can shoot, still). What do I do?

After a 20 year hiatus from this thrilling and unique game, I am now playing it again on Windows XP Home Edition. DUKE PLUS appears to be a marvelous mod; one that I very much want to use. Unfortunately however, when I try to run DUKE PLUS in conjunction with the Duke Nukem HIGH RESOLUTION PACK, the game suffers a distortion that adversely affects my experience. Specifically, there seems to be a strange zoom or resolution issue that results in floating on-screen graphics as can be seen here: Dreamuse.com. I tried typing r_pr_fov 426 or 512 or 625 in the console, but found the code appears to be ineffectual while using DUKE PLUS. Can one guide me to solve this frustrating issue? Thanks.
