How to install:
1. Download all files (part 1+2 & sounds) and extract the DIK_Ultimate - 0.6.1.rar
2. Place all files into one folder
3. Run the .exe file
4. Extract sounds.rar to Italian_Wars/data/sounds
5. Run the shortcut on your desktop

I followed the description but got no sound?? any fix for this??
Could you post your folder structure to your sound folder?
I mean something like this: itlian_wars/data/sounds ..
I guess something went in the wrong folder ;)

Heres a How To Install for anyone who is having difficulties installing the mod.
Thank you very much, you are a saviour! I've been trying to install this mod for 3 months without luck. I was using the TWcenter files but was still getting the "papal coronation" error. The only thing I did differently this time is - at your suggestion - I used Chrome instead of Opera. That finally made it work.

I was able to solve the papal coronation error by changing to the files from TWC. If you're like me and only replaced the three data files and not the .exe file, i.e. you have .exe from ModDB + the rest from TWC, you will still get the papal coronation error. Make sure you get the .exe from TWC and it should work.
Don't download this file, instead use this one Drive.google.com from Twcenter.net

as mentioned on the tw center forum post the events for newly added factions are missing, any hope of them being implemented in the future?
Musics in this mod are beautiful! Great mod tho
The install here doesn't work because the papal coronation issue everyone else mentions here, and the Total War Center install can't work because all the google drive links are 404 errors now (except the music weirdly) so this mod apparently just can't be installed now. A real shame, I liked it a lot for what it was even if it was unfinished.
EDIT: The mod has been updated, but only on Total War Center - you have to go to the subpage for Italian Wars Mod and scroll down a bit if you want actual working links
