I'm sorry, but if you really have this kind of a problem with "satanic" content... Why play a game where the gates of hell are opened?
Well I agree now matter how much I remove the satanic content Doom will always be a game designed to be an evil place. I wanted to use the game to design games of my own but I dont like the pentagrams and stuff on my computer so I made this mod for my self and shared it with every one else. You know its like your supposed to be fighting against the devil in the game but I just think its a little too much about the devil for my comfort(The pentagrams are real and so is alot of the demon writing that comes out on the walls some times). It,s alot Like Wolfenstien where your fighting against nazis.

Technically, pentagrams are a pagan symbol which is interpreted by religions as satanic, there is nothing inherently evil about the symbol. I also see your are removing the hell level, which is considered by many people to be the best in the game that breaks away from metal and concrete hallways. If you plan on just modding doom and not playing it, why is it so important to remove this content?
Instead of hell we will battle demons in heavens with "god" on our side. LOL THIS MADE MY DAY! The most stupid mod in the history of mod kind!
But there is in fact something inherently evil about it. It is a symbol used in witchcraft and satanic ceremonies, whether you "believe" it or not. Occult groups throughout the ages have used these symbols to summon dark entities. You assume those "pagans" of old did not invite darkness into their lives, believing them to be their "gods"?. That is precisely what occurs with the shamans and swamis of South America and India. They invite demons who pretend to be benevolent spirits. Same thing with New Age rituals as well.
I have been planning releasing two versions of the mod, one with the hell level edited, and one with the hell level removed. The pentagram in Doom 3 is upside down with the tip of the star facing downward and is thought to resemble a goats head representing the devil( which is strangely similar to the white witch of wicca). In wicca the main pentagram associated is the five pointed star with the tip facing up ward and has to do with the solstice I believe.
MMMM... nice Mod. Hey dude, can i ask you a favour? could yo do a Mod of Ultimate DOOM? i only want it without the pentagrams on the walls. The rest of the game (like the number of levels or enemys) must be intact. Only remove the pentagrams please... OH, and if you can, please add the gibb death animation to te face? it would be cool. thank you in advance

All of you can say what ever you like, but this young fellow just wants to play while keeping his mind free of smut and you bash him for it, why? Why do you care what way he plays the game???, most of you are children who's parents do a poor job on showing you what to watch for. I've seen so many of you (without warning)die, all out of stuff you thought doesn't matter but the truth is you have a very vague understanding of things you hold an interest in as your fathers did before you(monkey see, monkey do), and will make any excuse so long as you get your way,....leave him alone then. But as a Father myself, I'd be proud of him for stepping out & doing the right thing while still keeping his heart and mind intact while still having fun! -Lee King
