Every time I try to launch Desperation I get a Heap Allocation error!
Launch in Win 98/ME compatibility mode, this is a known issue with Carnivores 2/IA that was addressed in the patches which are not shipped with mods.

Just left click the application then go to properties after that all you need to do is go into the compatibility tab and set your compatibility mode to windows 98/windows ME and heap allocation errors should be less likely to happen, also I would recommend using the beta 2 release of this mod but then repeat the process and heap allocation error will definity not appear as much.

Two hours to download?
2 Hours? Mine was less than a minute xD
it took my computer 2 minutes to download this mod which is a perfect amount of time.
So far, this mod mod just seems O.K., most of the dinosaurs look like a retexture, and the first map is very similar to the original. However, this just the first betta, and hope the game will look different in the future.
