This patch brings stability, fixes issues with attachments and adds a lot of content for shotguns. Full changelog in archive.
Please report any issues regarding loading times and persistence of attachments.
Installation: Do not use old Desolation files. Install on top of a fresh Anomaly 1.5.1 installation.

Let me try and answer it this way. Anything that can go on a picatinny rail, will go on a picatinny rail. No matter what weapon you have. The same with russian dove tail mounts.

cant figure out how to use this mod. i tried using M02 handler to install and game doesnt boot at all, tried with no other mods installed on a fresh Anomoly folder both trying M02 and without,
copy the exe files manually into bin. MO thends to ignore them.
The glass of the scopes are pitch black and i cant switch from iron sights to scope on guns like the Kar98K. How do i fix this?

Yes all modules have integrated stats and old upgrade model for weapons is obsolete now.

Hey, playing with the EFP + Desolation mod. Sometimes my mags just completetly disappear from the gun and i think its happening during loading saves. Is there a problem with the mag mod or just some other conflict?
When I install this mod into fresh Anomaly it crashes instantly. Please help.

Yes, just don't use FDDA's exe files.
what mods will this support that do make us overwrite the .exe's

I'm wondering about vegeta1k95's heatvision mod that would be nice with all these tacticool weapons and that incorporated support for a bunch of other engine mods.
What I'm really hoping though is to use autumn season redux would that be possible?
Sorry for jumping straight in with questions, I should say thanks for you effort and sharing first, this looks like one of those mods that I'll love and honestly I want to apologise, I've tried this for 5 min and I had to stop because I won't be able to go back to playing normal anomaly but I really want to start testing this and providing feedback, I can tell you I did have trouble attaching some mods the list of slots did not come up when trying to attach scopes.
I F5'd and F9'd then they worked. I'm going to try and hurry finishing current play through then I'll be back to test more.

P.S. if I can play season redux with this I think I might just give in and start new desolation game right away, stuff it going to try right now.

been a while but if I remember correctly:
Have clean install of Stalker anomaly.
Paste Bin folder into main directory and overwrite when asked
then use MO2 for the gamedata folder.
You could just paste it all in to main directory aswell I believe.

Quick question, turning on SSAO and SSDO on the visual settings would turn everything black, ground, textures and so on. Does Desolation have some sort of shader conflicting with it? Although turning SSAO off would make everything back to normal though.
is there a way around/fix for the FOV black box issue? there is a black box like in clear sky that follows you and is really visible.
Even do I don't like how the mod feels at the moment you are making great work and a huge leap and stalker weapon customization and maybe better gunplay overhaul.
I hope in the near future this will be better and added as part of Anomaly.
Question: why is my m4 still at 1 round after reloading it with a full mag, after adding said mag to loadout and actually making sure that it's "attached" (can remove it from the weapon using the context menu)?
EDIT: disregard; wasn't thinking that the mag count's one simply because of the 1 in the chamber, and that one usually doesn't know how much ammo they expend so it stays 1.

Is there a way to actually use the various control sights keys, cause I have no idea what to press (camera locks in place (severely limiting mouse input, if even an option), wsad just moves the player around, arrow keys just looks around) after trying (and failing) to edit the sights in-game.
So my issue was relatively easy to solve myself, didn't press the [switch modular sights] key.

Having a problem where my game crashes on launch -- seems to have an issue between Desolation and the Blindsides Reanimation Pack. If it's a lower priority, I get a scope_svt40 override error, and when it's higher priority, i get an error where it tries to overwrite something about a wpn_scar something or other but it doesn't exist.
Edit: After adjusting my load order, I've found the issue exists not with Blindside, but with my EFT weapon reposition mod, which confuses me just as much, and I don't know how to fix it.
Simple, dont use any reposition mod or weapon mod. BlindXSides anims are included by default anyway.
Yeah i tried that -- removing both BlindXSides anims and EFT repos mod from my active list didn't do much, still stuck with the "Attemped to override section 'wpn_scar_eot_sk1_hud', which doesn't exist. Ensure that a base section with the same name is loaded first." error.
Try clean anomaly install, in doubt ask for help in our discord.
