The final version of the resort day & night cycle mod developed by dead-deadisland. To install paste the Data folder to My Documents/DeadIsland/out folder.

Description
This is the final version of the resort cycle mod ill be doing , this version has a lot of visual fix s in it for objects and fx effects, for example the lighthouse light,That just sticks or becomes invisible , iv changed the weather in the day to include a storm with lightning. and changed the sunset sunrise and night time moon position and weather effects..
the will be three versions coming out of this mod,normal ,hard ,fun..
This is the firsts version with normal game play but iv added a few items for the map and included unlimited flashlight mod
unlimited flashlight (this works in the car as a helper to headlights )
the flash light is triggered the same way you turn your flashlight on now ,so to use it turn your flashlight on then straight off again and your unlimited flashlight is on permantly,to turn your unlimited flashlight off, turn your flashlight back on and leave it on till the battery dies and your unlimited flashlight will go off . its been made to work that way as you prob know, if you go to drive a car it will auto turn off
Installation
Simply unzip the file and drop the data folder into your 'My Documents/DeadIsland/out folder ..if you have a data folder just add contents of the mod
That's it, load up and enjoy.

**Obviously this will not work with any other weather mod, and you can only use one of my cycle mods at a time **
if your running the old versions of the resort mod remove that mod before you install this new one ,this new version is compatible with the DI car mod .You may use the mod in multiplayer but people who don't have the mod in won't be able to join you they will be auto kicked.while you playing the resort map. do not redistribute the mods or claim as your own work
the flashlight works, the night cycle DONT work at all. So do not download this mod, its a waste of time, not that it takes so long time to download, but you will get very dissapointed.
I assume this mod does not work with DI: Definitive Edition. What a pity if so... Would be possible to make even a version for this remaster so that Day & Night Cycle could apply in here too? It would be blissful to see and experince the resort at dawn or sunset.
Verminator2020 No sorry definitive has a broken day and night cycle hardcoded to the game .Left in DAY mode by the developers as the cycle just does not work tried . Scripts changes wont be possible to fix it …looks to me as if they where going to put the dying light night day system hardcode code in and gave up :(

@ jeromeN7 yes you can ,Just delete the scripts folder in the mod, That will remove flashlight from been unlimited
