Dark Lore Grimoire overhauls the College of Winterhold and adds the Order of the Black Worm, Solitude Mages Guild and House Telvanni as joinable mage factions as well as adding new DLG spells and 50+ quests.
Dark Lore Grimoire is part of my Skyrim Upgrade and represents a massive upgrade to the Skyrim Mage Game. Not only does it take all the default spells and unlock them according to your magic skills in each school instead of your character level, which does not care if your a mage or not, but it adds various magic guilds and orders to the game and revamps the College of Winterhold too. With this mod installed, Solitude will be one of your favourite towns in Skyrim.... instead of the least visited.
