Bethesda has released their second Elder Scrolls game, Daggerfall, as freeware. The classic RPG is notable for its enormity – being large and ambitious even by standards of the later games, even if it’s visually clunky today. You will need DOSBox to get it working as the game is quite old.

nice fatsuit, King George!
(buried)
You should pull the ESRB rating immediately into the description, as the game does infact indeed contain nudity.
then again anyone who would want to play this game (or played it back in the day) is most likely older than 17 by now. (myself included)
I would am I'm 15. :p
14! top that

i would say, if you even know about this game, then you'd have to be at least 17.

i have all the Elder scrolls series and i say : all the games of bethesda softworks are awesome!
oh man does this bring back some good memories.
Ha I meant to say something about this… I’ve been playing since Thursday when planet elder scrolls released this.
This is excellent!
More developers need to release their old games for free like this. I mean, they aren't available in stores anymore.
It's always nice when abandonware is released by the developer, and it offers a good chance to relive good memories.
How do I download this?
the only game in the main elder scrolls series i havent played
Wait a minute, this game is unbeatable (unless the released the updated version...)!
Patch is included.
Nice, never played this version ( only MW und Obl ). It's rather gruesome if you have no manual of that but you can somehow figure out the controls. Just shooting arrows from the bow doesn't seem to work. And it crashed already 10 or more times in dosbox ( rofl, the name buggerfall really does apply to this one :D ). Nice DOS gaming memories. So much troubles one had to play a game compared to nowadays ( or consoles ).
I CAN"T FIGURE OUT HOW TO HIT AH. Ya, I spent all that time installing thru dosbox, which was annoying, just so I can' not learn how to play. Gotta love life sometimes.
dont you just love complexity :P
13 years, still awesome!
gotta love elderscrolls
Dang! I'm 15 and never heard of elder scrolls untill oblivion. then i played morrowind. found out about this 6 months ago and finally can play the whole series! rofl about my late realization.
