Only if you want to add new items. This update only does one thing, which is fix the ability to add new items and have them show up as equipment options, plus make that work without having to start a new game. If you're not going to be adding new items yourself, this update offers literally no change from the 03/07/2017 version.
Is this version compatible with earlier saves?
This version is 100% compatible with saves from the 03/07/2017 version but no earlier.
hello i see new version :) is there a way i can use this mod with the red wars mod??? i want my own unit tree for my faction instead of using the regular swazians rhodoks vaegirs and khergits :) just asking

Love this mod! I've always been looking for something like this. I can finally have my troops look the way I want them to!
Unfortunately, the heraldry doesn't seem to be working right. For example, if I choose to become a king, I can never choose a banner, and if I'm a noble and choose a banner, it never appears on my shield while walking around in the town or in battle. I'm not sure if this is a problem with your version. If not, I may just reinstall the game...
It's probably the mod, there's issues with banners that will be fixed in a new version and patch coming out this weekend.
Great mod, also I've always hoped for something similar. We have a group on facebook just for Brazilians, and everyone is using the mod. We all also use diplomacy 4.litdum. Are there future plans to put this functionality?
Litdum doesn't seem to be open source so nothing I can do with it.

When I was playing I set my magistrate to train my custom troops and after a while they all went into some weird completely naked troops called a6 or a4 or something like that. That but ruined my playthrough. ;(
