Description
Contra is a freeware modification (or simply - mod) for Generals: Zero Hour real time strategy game. This mod adds 102 new units, 50 new upgrades, 45 new general's powers, 30 new buildings and 3 new generals as well as new music and new quality graphics and sound for normal Zero Hour units. Contra is a 'standalone' mod - it won't work in conjunction with any other mods and AI patches you may have installed, so remove them before you install it. Contra requires Generals Zero Hour version 1.04.

My NOCD Won't work, now i gotta take out my sims 3 dvd and put in Zero Hour CD in everytime i play sims or ZH.... that kidna fails
is this a 'cleaner' version or the same bug-filled version? don't get me wrong, it's an awesome mod, and probably THE TOUGHEST AI in ZH history, but the crashes! oh the humanity!
Yes i played this once 006 was released and it crashed most of the time and i gave up. 005 was more stable than this. But i love the 006 water effects :)

When I do what the install instructions say for the PC. All I get is the regular ZH, what could I be doing wrong?
Dude, i love to play your mod especially 006 BUT i don't know what the problem is. I defeat after 5 sec the game begin. My base automatically explode like i push surrender button. 005 is batter and no much problem. This is really S*it! Any suggestion to solve it?
re-install ZH with property CD-key.
I finally got the game to work but it runs kind of fast, is there anyway to slow the game speed?
it's easy when starting skirmish game there are players and under them are game speed change it to 30 it is defualt speed

i think these 're-releases' is just to remind everyone, and to hype up 007 release (which i hope is way less buggy than 005) - the forum for Contra pretty much states what's wrong w/006 (and what can/can't be done about it). I know there's another group working on a cleaner/leaner/meaner version of Contra (can't recall what it's named right now), but DK where they are on releasing it...as i said before - TUFFEST ZH AI EVAH. And that REALLY makes me look forward to a good working version of 007 - they've done an awesome job (even w/the bugs) so far...
The alternative to Contra, Remix, is not leaner or cleaner or meaner.
It is far more complicated, there are tons more units per side, There are loads of tech levels, there are general tech branches....

the challenges are way too fast. can u tell me how i can lower the speed. its kinda impossible to control when everything is too fast
I'm hoping this works for me. Somehow I've screwed almost every mod I downloaded and it only modded 1/999 of the whole game whence it should of modded more then half.
Done that but the problem still occur. Other mod and contra previous version run properly.
Huhhh...looks like I need to forget Contra 006 version and wait for the Contra BOND series 007.
damn. any of u guys notice that the challenges is freaking fast? its impossible to get a grip. anyone knows how to edit the challenge speed?its way too fast.

nice mod .. but i had it 6 month ago, and there was two problem 1) Technical error while i was playing after 1 - 2 hours .. 2) Dismatch between players ... i don't know why i get these problems.. now i downloaded this new version and hoped to solve these problems..

when i double click general's zero hours icon it loads fine but at the lil boxs with the stuff in it it pops a box saying " Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application"
To KH_370 do you have the zerohour disk in the cd drive if not thats your problem.
One of the BEST mods for ZH... better than the v007 i may say
look i just download 006 and I don`t know to get a palge or the other buldings.it just wright "you need general promiton for build a palce or a propaganda center or stray center"i don`t get that I need i help guys!

you have to have atleast 3 star general until you can build like propaganda building or strategy center or palace

I play c and c Generals long time ago when I was in grade 5 until now and I play also Zero hours contra in internet shop. That's way I keep trying to download this mod because I love this game but our network is my problem because it so very low in signal can you help me guys to download low in space contra generals?
