YOU NEED A ORIGINAL HALF-LIFE 2!
Obviously u need Half Life 2, he's asking where, what folders, jeez.

You place the folder inside the directory : steam/steamapps/sourcemods.
All i have is Half-2 Episode pack, i don't have The original HAlf-2 they don't even sell that any more will it Still work For me?. Or am i scruwed because i need the Very original.
You know you can just buy the original Half-Life 2 ion Steam for $20 or so.
best to buy it on steam imo, ofc it's available.

hey i wanna ask you guys something, when i play the mod i notice that i dont spawn with the stunstick and i cant spawn it through console. how and why cant i spawn with the stunstick? i really like this mod though.
ps: i notice the fast headcrabs,combine soldiers and headcrabs have that "beta texture". pss: when i spawn teh soldiers wont follow me :(
Whenever i try to start the game it says something along the line of "startup_loading.vtf not found. Anything to do? This seems like a great mod.
Steam pipe update broke the mod. You need to find: Fixes for HL2 mods broken by the SteamPipe update.

I have installed it copied to files to the SDk folder restarted steam... yet it refuses to start... I appreciate the modders' hard work but it is soooo tiring that mods keep acting up.

When i click 'play' on steam for the game I get an error message = " Can't find background image materials/console/startup_loading.vtf " Was wondering if anyone knew the fix to this. I got the 1.1 patch and the SDK Patch. and in my materials/console Folder I only have 4 .vtf's there.
