Description

This is a widescreen update for C&C : Generals - Zero Hour. C&C Generals Zero Hour: Widescreen Unzip GAMEDATA.INI into your "Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Data\INI" folder. (typically under Program Files) Edit MaxCameraHeight to adjust the FOV. Default setting is 310. Setting it to 410 is approximately the same as a 4:3 monitor, and 510+ gives you a widescreen advantage.

Hi, While it did increase the camera height it didn`t change the resolution. So frustrated that apparently changing the resolution of the Origin version of Generals and Zero Hour seems to be impossible.....

From Stack Exchange
Inside your My Documents folder, you will find a Command and Conquer Generals Data folder
Inside this folder you will find a file called Options.ini, edit this file
Find the line that says Resolution = and change the value from whatever it is to whatever you want
For example, for a resolution of 1600x900, you will want to set the Resolution = line to Resolution = 1600x900.
