Hi everyone!
I have a bit of trouble launching reborn on my Win7. I installed yuri and it went perfect, then I downloaded reborn 2.0 and 2.1 installed them and got black screen but with music.
I found somewhere on this site something about ddraw.dll in russian saying that without it game gives you video. I cut the ddraw.dll out of my game directory and it actually started up.
I played for a while and noticed some strong errors - There were no building, shooting sounds or voice messages, also - when I paused the game, I couldnt get back to the game as there were no resume button. It was also like that for any options menu that i accessed from pause menu.
But today, the game just doesnt start up anymore, and it gives me message: Failed to initialize, please reinstall.
So - whats wrong with my game?! And is there any way I can fix it? I really want to play it, as I think it is great mod from what I saw within those few hours of playtime.
1. About black screen is written in the description of the 2.0 installation file.
2. Before I go into the game, I think it would be logical to change the audio and video settings.
3. Personally, I have this rarely (in the first run of Reborn). Maybe you forgot to insert the YR game disk?
delete (ddraw.dll) file in your game folder.

1. install official RA2 & YR expansion CD or iso file using UltraISO or PowerISO and don't forget to patch RA2 to 1.006 & YR to 1.001 then use crack in the CD or iso file. Note: make a backup folder of RA2YR or archive. if you plan use other mod
2. install REBORN 2.0 and delete ddraw.dll then patch to 2.1 or just install both then delete ddraw.dll later after you install the mod & patch
3.Run this program in compatibility mode in Win XP SP3 & Privilege Level > Run this program as an administrator
gamemd.exe, RA2MD.exe, mphmd.exe, YURI.exe if you plan to play YR only. but if you want to play RA2 set this also Ra2.exe, game.exe, mph.exe
4. then you finish. try it now ^_^
What about in XP RA2 work but YR not and in 7 RA not and YR work how can i fix this??
RA2 and YR excellent works on all versions of Windows. In some cases you may need compatibility with Win98/ME.
go in the game folder ,right click on game and go in security tab, in front of (full control ) click on allow. do this for all users yo see up the page.

I have install reborn in my YR and delete a ddraw.dll, now I open the game then it said that I must Insert CD ROM, but I didn't have the CD.

I think the Author need a "SPANK" he is Lazy to update the Patch, all we want is to update the Patch for full compatibility and to Fix some Bug!!.

What problem are you getting?
It appears that this game does not work on The First Decade as it keeps pestering me about inserting the CD...
When I tried it with other MODS it works perfectly ( Mental Omega, Apocalypse and Reloaded ) but the moment I try it with reborn it says I require the CD...
I remember playing this before way back when I had Vanilla YR, but now that I have The First Decade I can't anymore...

I installed C&C Red Alert 2: Reborn 2.0 ,but I have a problem with the language I pray your really nice,to help me, just how to change from Russian to English? That my true tapes where to get into that file and what needs to change,to me the whole menu was in English game because the Russian language I do not understand at all. Thank you in advance

Решил поиграть в RA2. Накачал модов, но новые не очень понравились. Поставил реборн. После быстрой загрузки карты начинается натуральное слайд шоу. Остальные моды летали, а тут дикие тормоза. В чем прикол?
Очень жаль, что автор забросил проэкт. Как по мне, то Rebern это самый веселый и трешевый мод для RA2.

great mod , thank you very much, but the tesla tank in the original version more beautiful than in the current version, and the explosion of the nuclear missile in the original version is more beautiful and its light is more brighter (more realistic). Thank you. :)

Здравствуйте я тут хочу вам небольшую идею дать с обновой.Первое это юниты-герои,
добавьте юнитов героев для каждой из подфракций японии ираку и т.д. а не как в игре что у всех подфракций одинаковые супер юниты, еще что хочу это чисто для меня и чтоб было проще играть, вот есть у японии роботы ремонтники они хорошо ремонтируют технику и прочее но чтобы они хотя бы начали это делать это надо нажимать клавишу на клавиатуре или направлять их на поврежденного юнита а можно чтоб они сами если не долеко от них есть поврежденный юнит то онис ами ехали к ниму и чинили его и также не останавливались пока все не будут отремонтированы будет легче и удобнее с таким юнитом и последнее это хотел бы супер юнита японии это девушку хиллера чтобы хилила и технику и пехоту в среднем радиусе от себя по немного ну или средне просто я очень люблю юнитов саппортов или хилов которые помогают в бою спасибо за внимание и удачи вам очень люблю ваш мод).
