needs a sound patch it sounds vary choppy and beta 5 sounds better but beta 6 has better graphic I'll admit and better new sound Direct 3d sound does not work you hear only some sounds with that one and software is vary choppy of all other carnivores game sin the seris so far I do have current drivers too all and all other games are fine
The sound patches in this game are the same as in Ice Age. For better performance, run TRIASSIC.EXE in Administrator mode under Windows 98\ME compatibility and\or install the latest sound patches for Ice Age.

Go to the Carnivores Saga forum, there you can download a program called Alt Editor 2; that's the program used to make all maps for Carnivores 2, Ice Age and subsequent mods, including Triassic.

How do I install this game?
Extract the ZIP file into a folder of your choice and double click TRIASSIC.EXE to play.
Won't download
This version is obsolete, I suggest you download Beta 7 instead.
How Is Works?
um when you said GIMP is what you use to make dinosaur skins and menu pics, it wont let me save the image in the right kind of file format but it is ok you don't need to help me out I just wanted to try it out. thanks for that info.
also this game is pretty good except when I try to kill a poacher it runs away instead of trying to shoot me like I was expecting, so I would like that fixed so I can have fun killing the poachers. also carnivores Triassic should have new kill animations for when the dinosaurs murder the 'Hunter.car' character.
