I dig it, it's pretty cool. How much work would it be to re-instate the kick? Tends to be pretty useful against close in enemies and for sending barrels away.

Revival of "kick" is still difficult.
Call of duty does not have a "kick" action, it is difficult to prepare a sprite.
I think that it is possible to bring it from other games, but it will make a big incongruity in the atmosphere.

I do not know if it will be realized, but I will think about the plan.

you could probably find a model or something and position the camera/model accordingly, whether in something like gmod or some 3D modelling software

I have not tried correspondence to "project brutality" yet, so it takes time to research.

Firstly, I need to fix bugs in Vanilla and Brutal.
After that, since I also coordinate the development of a new lightweight version, the adjustment to "project brutality" will be later.

The mod is amazing but some things have happened. Some weapons make the game close, is it because I'm trying to play on the D-Touch? Is possible play nice with pistols, shotguns and some rifles.

For tablets and smartphones,
The operation of this mod is very difficult.

Weapons animation is massive, 10 times heavier than BrutalDoom.
It is for gaming PC.

"Light weight Version" is under development.
Please be patient for a while. sorry.

Can attack enemies while reflecting enemy missiles.
A bug where players' attacks cut themselves has been fixed.

Ok, here me out, but I would love to see this on the Sega Dreamcast. A few years back I was actually thinking of making a mod calling it Call of Doom using the Skulltag COD sprites as well, but glad somebody else beat me to it! I had other stuff going on like my Battlefield 2 mods.

There are quite a few good Doom source ports on the Dreamcast, and one even supports rumble as well as supports the VMU screen, but the console also has native mouse and keyboard support.

So I know it is a long shot, but do you have a Sega Dreamcast, and would you be willing to port the awesome mod to it? I think it would be cool to see a stand alone homebrew version on a console.

Great mod! Ammo counts are kind of high though, even if playing on realistic. Can there be a modified that reduces ammo pickups by a bit? I think it's all the armor becoming ammo so I end up with tons of ammo 2-3 maps in. It'd be nice for it to be more of a tactical experience where you have to pick your shots carefully and vary up your weapons more.

This Beta MOD aims to make it not feeling stressed, and you get quite a lot of ammo so that you can keep using your favorite gun all the time.

In the near future, "Survival Ver" with less ammunition such as Resident Evil will be released.

I knew you were a fan of Resident Evil, The grenade boxes were a hint. :) I would love a reduced ammo version of the game so you have to use variety in your weapon selection. :)

Yeah, that's actually along what I was thinking, some sort of survival horror mode.

I'd love to help beta test something like that; I usually play more survival horror styled mods than anything else anyway.

I am sorry for trouble.

Although it is possible to distribute a patch with WAD or PK 3, some players do not notice or mistakenly install that patch.
In the old Call of Doom, the files were divided, but there were quite a few people who mistook the load and caused errors.

So it is troublesome to reinstall a large file, but I have chosen a method that does not require a complicated procedure just because it is "troublesome".

Since fatal bugs have been removed, I think that it will not be updated for a while.

Hey man, it's the best brutal doom weapons pack ever! \o/ But please don't cut the reload animation! They are magical! Originally DooM don't have a reload system, because of this a beautiful reload animation make all difference.

Welcome back Arrowwood and thanks for continuing giving us unique experience to Doom games with your mods ! Is not an overstatement to say that nowadays there isn't much weapons mods for Doom. Now I would like to ask some questions and some give some notices. I AM AWARE that is just a beta now:

1) It seems to me that weapons slots number 8 and 9 does not contain any new weapons. Is because is still beta right ?

2) By any chance does this mod contains some weapons from the previous mod ? Because if I use the console command and summon the RPD, I can pick it up and use it but is invisible.

3) It seems you are using the Frag12 to more shotguns now. Is very cool but I noticed that is not a separated ammo. Will you make it separated ? Same goes for the Grenade Launcher MGL-140. Also I would suggest the ammo for the Frag12 to be the same like the MGL-140.

4) Some weapons you can attach or detach the silencer. But I also noticed that even if you detach the silencer is still there on the weapon iconic.

5) Will you give us the option to have all the weapons via cheat regardless the limitation like you did in the previous mod ?

6) Any unique weapons are coming back to this mod ? Such as M2Flamethrower, RPG-7, Death-machine ?

7) When I am equipping the Katana a notice appears " Jump target "givesohselect" not found in katana"

8) When dual-wielding, I cannot change weapons.

9) The survival patch for some reason is causing most weapons to not be able to reload. The moment the clip is empty it will switch to another weapon. I read the instructions carefully and I don't think I make any mistakes. The purpose was to reduce general and special ammunition not disable them, correct ?

10) Companions: If you summon more than 1 companion they will be busy shooting at each other and if not that they will be busy shooting at the dead corpses LOL.

11) Maybe it will be interesting to make some sniper rifles Full Metal Jacket ?

Hey dude I having been playing for a while now and I must say the Katana is a MASTERPIECE !!! Quick slashing, Star Wars Reflector Style but I never expected to see a 3rd attack with the melee button too !!! Is almost like a kick attack and when you taunt a Mancubus,Pinky and Cyberdemon.... Funny as hell !!

I think I can see what are you trying to do. In my previous comment I ask you if you bring back the RPG but when I saw the Grenade Launcher MGL-140 how powerful it is and with very quick fire-rate, I changed my mind ! Not to mention the radiation grenades kills everything around too. Truly very impressive work until now, you creating something completely different than before.

I am selfishly looking forward for one of the strongest sniper in the world like the Barrett M82, a Minigun or a heavy machinegun and even a rocket or missile launcher. Yeah I know I am getting a little bit too excited. A LITTLE. Thanks and looking forward anyways to your next update.

I like this mod.

But is there a way to reduce the weapon size or make the models smaller? I feel that the models are just too big.

Also is there a option to give the gun have a random attachment? I would like it if you had to choose to drop that M4 with ext mag to have a red dot or quick mag, etc.

These are just the thoughts of one man.

Thumbs up for the mod, I know how much effort you've put into this.

Which cod is this based on.. or is it some kind of combination of individual cods, lets say black ops 2 weapons and some modern warfare ones? I haven't started the mod yet

I tried playing the base version in peer-to-peer coop and it was really stable, but it seemed like the difficulty couldn't be altered. I tried using the -skill command in commandline, and the skill command on the in-game console but it was always the UV monster count with very little damage dealt to the players. Do you have any ideas?

Oh come on! Why all mods made for GZDoom only, like Zandronum doesn't exist! I'm complaining because GZDoom doesn't work for me since version 2.0.0, and it seems that the problem is in OpenGL, but my video card supports OpenGL 4.0. So i have no idea why in the name of god GZDoom doesn't work for me anymore. So yeah, maybe Zandronum support for this mod? Be fair already!

It's mainly because the most recent Zandronum version is ludicrously outdated. No doubt mod authors would be happy to make versions compatible with Zandronum but until it's updated to a newer version, there's little point. GZDoom has advanced far beyond it at this point.

Zandronum is horrendously out of date, that's why more and more mods are being made for GZDoom rather than Zandronum. It's not elitist or gatekeeping, it's just far more practical to make stuff for GZDoom. Also low-spec gamers can use LZDoom, it's literally made for people who don't meet GZDoom's OpenGL or Vulkan requirements or who can't run GZDoom very well and is kept somewhat up to date with GZDoom's features, so most GZDoom mods should work in it with little to no issues.

1st off, demanding ain't gonna get you anywhere with most modders.
2nd, Zandronum is horrendously out of date, not even having up to date ACS or Decorate support, let alone more current features GZDoom has, like ZScript. 3rd, if GZdoom doesn't work, give LZDoom a try, it's made to support legacy systems, using Direct X instead of Open GL or Vulkan, it's not completely up to date with GZDoom, but it's muuuuuch closer than Zandronum.
