Anyone else having problems opening doors?
Example: E1M1. Get skull key from cultist in courtyard. Can't open.
Start a new game.. it opens this time, but then another random door won't open. It's very inconsistent.
Yeah after trying a few new games, it's almost like you get a limited number of doors you can activate before it breaks. If I skip the two secrets in the starting room and the secret Raven armor, I can always open skull door. If come back to the start room after clearing the level, then I can't open the secret raven door anymore and the door to the start room doesn't open.
Kind of glad it's not just me, I was going a bit crazy there.
Amusing coincidence that you should release a new (and almost complete) version hours before I begun (again) searching for Blood source ports and trying to understand the software landscape around it.
However, there's a problem - not a single door opens. I get stuck in the grave in the first level of the first episode. The correct sound plays, but nothing happens. This is on Linux, eDuke32 20160115.r5568-1, compiled freshly for this release, as the older version complained about some settings at start.

Yes, same problem. I tried to make some changes in the config, but I just turned keys off. And I couldn't pick them up in the game.
Is it a bug or feature of beta?
Awesome work man! I'd given up all hope of XlEngine ever being completed and then I find this, works like a charm but I have one question, is there a way of using an Xbox360 pad with your port? trying to play KB+M on a laptop isn't much fun :(
Anyone wondering as I did how to make a controller work? Use Pinnacle profiler, takes a fair bit of patience and faffing but I got a seriously smooth setup going. M210, you are a lovely person for making this port
Nice work, I've been waiting years for a decent source port, but I'm having 2 big problems. When I get past the GT intro the graphics appear screwed up - instead of seeing a menu I see loads of monster sprites and if I actually manage to get into the game for some reason Caleb keeps floating to the ceiling. I was playing this on my laptop so I think the former might be a software issue. I'll get you some screenshots later when I'm home. Thanks a bunch for the port though.
We are remade it :), because clicking to the walls and teleporting from clicking wall is stupid and not realistic. Try to find other way for get to secret room ;) Some clues can be found in the game quotes
In the past year I started learning Java programming, maybe someday I can make a own port of Blood :) At this time I working on Gta2 remake and Doom to Duke Nukem 3D map converter. Also I finished my Build ART files editor
On lightly broiled there's no keys in wrong side of the tracks (second level of ep2), also many places that supposed to explode aren't, I could provide save with that although might try higher difficulty if problem persist for me.
Nope, it should play CD Track, it's the midi that doesn't play due to ; which version of Blood do you use as reference? 1.21 OUWB, 1.20 or pre-Plasmapak? Here's blood.ini of that part:

Lots of problems on E3M6 Monster Bait. Everything has stopped working. Doors won't open, elevators won't work. The game freezes every time I jump out of the river onto the ledge and go to where the walkway collapsed earlier.
Doesn't look like I'll be able to finish the game. Bummer.
Please tell me u fixed the burning man animation. Great job on the episodes.

Yes, ep's 1-4 is done now, but last level without Tchernobog yet, I will try make it soon

Same problem here. The Skull door opens than don't work anymore. The curtain and the crematorium don't work too.

I had this bug once, but don't understood what's happened. I can't fix this while don't understand a cause...I hope I will fix it at future
I hope you can fix it fast, cause i have tried 5 times and i cant complete the first mission, some door/curtain will stop working at some point
I did not have that problem in the previous version.
Edit: I also tried Ep2 got stuck on the fire door.

Burning man animation is fixed for sure. But for some reason the first map in episode 1 doesn't have an end level button.

Redownload it. See comments above. New version fixes this.
This bug was fixed in r5588, therefore you need to compile a newer version of eduke32

Try to install BloodCM to empty folder without Blood resources
BloodCM is an independent game which not need other resources

So...how exactly do you find it? I've just about searched this accursed level inside and out and I feel I've come no closer to finding it.
A lot of the maps are quite different.

this is great idea! next best thing to a source port.
the work done on the maps and ui up to this point is great.
i am also very impressed with the quality of the audio.

I'm running newest version (BloodCM_v02.2016.2018.zip) with 8bpp mode as 32bpp doesn't provide as accurate experience. ;P

Its strange, but I agree that it can happened. Try to restart e3m6 (launch it through user map)
