In the main menu there is a line "Black Mesa: Black Ops" click on it and all start

Did you add the gameinfo file to the /bms folder?
I'm getting the revamped menus but I'm not getting the line to actually start the game. Do workshop items count as mods that need to be removed to work?
Any additions to BM that are not related to our modification may conflict with each other
Does this change original game files?
In total there is only one file game.info, the rest goes as an addition.

I've reached the cafeteria and pushed a button at the top of the room but there's no clear way to go. The doors at the bottom leading to the helicopter never open. I noclipped through the map just to find out where to go but there's still no obvious place. The map doesn't appear finished.

Quick feedback on this build (tested on a fresh BMS install):
- An automatic installer that finds BMS folder and especially backs up gameinfo.txt would be useful, that would avoid questions in the comments.
- I had a transparent box sticking out of the top left corner of my screen for some reason.
- Sniper's scope is offset to the left, making aiming impossible.
- Shotgun viewmodel has scientist sleeves.
- "Announcer under military command" announcement is repeated when standing on its trigger entity in map 4.
- Still in map 4, there is no texture on the ceiling of the closet in the security office near the cafeteria.
- NPCs can shoot you through the heavy truck in the last area in map 5.
- Still in map 5, last fight can be skipped to the ending.
I've posted feedback regarding the mod itself in the reviews. It's promising but needs a whole lot of polish.

In this version, a lot of bugs and other bugs were fixed including AWM.

where do i find the gameinfo folder? ive just installed it and all i can see are 3 folders called basicfiles HECUBO and weapon_v7 along with a vpk and cache file

In the downloaded archive there is no gameinfo.txt to
place in the /bms directory.
Does that provide the menu link to the game ?
I put all the other files in /bms/hl2/custom, but
it can't find the maps and no menu item to select.

And no full game, how hard can it be to maintain mods in 2019 (even 2017)?
RimaS_HECU I really want to play this mod, but there is no gameinfo folder, so I'm not sure what exactly I need to put where.
The contents of the .zip file are as follows: Basicfiles, HECUBO, weapon_v7, bms_misc.vpk.sound.cache, and bms_misc_dir.vpk.
I understand you're probably busy, what with everything that's going on, but we would really appreciate some help with how we're supposed to install this. As it stands, the instructions are outdated, and I can't find anything up-to-date anywhere on how to install this mod.
Theres nothing I can launch so where should I put these folders and how can I play this?

Hi guys thanks for the complete setup I'm using black mesa Classic so it doesn't
sit in steamapps/common. BMS is in my sourcemods folder in steam. My Question? Will it work on BMS Classic?
1) Качаете игру Black Mesa из Steam, далее заходите в свойства и на вкладке бета версии включаете хэллоуинское обновление.
2) Заходите в мастерскую и качаете одноимённое дополнение Black Mesa: Black Ops (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1168537819)
3) Открываете конечную папку Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\362890\1168537819, копируете gameinfo и вставляете его с заменой в папку Steam\steamapps\common\Black Mesa\bms (РЕКОМЕНДУЮ ПРЕДВАРИТЕЛЬНО СДЕЛАТЬ БЕКАП ОРИГИНАЛЬНОГО ФАЙЛА И СОХРАНИТЬ В ДРУГОЕ МЕСТО!)
4) Открываете конечную папку Steam\steamapps\common\Black Mesa\hl2\ и создаёте папку custom, далее в неё копируете все остальные файлы и папки из Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\362890\1168537819
5) Всё, можно играть! Для удобства можно ещё прописать в свойствах параметров запуска "-oldgameui" - копируйте и вставляйте без кавычек.
Мод кстати так себе. Не более 5 баллов из 10.
For some reason, when I download and extract the archive there's no game.info file I need to install. I'm not sure if this is intended or a bug.
