I would tell you about the performance, but my computer hits the 80 fps limit so I can't say anything about the loss.

Hm pretty weird. Does the old version work for you?

Yeah I just needed to add a adjustment to the old verson to get it working correctly as it was the motion blur that was creating weird pixels, but this version of the mod the pixels just randomly flash across the screen like the static of a T.V. It could be something wrong with the HUD or something with the mod isn't working exactly as intended.

Hm, the old version does not have motion blur at all.
However I'm sorry but probably I can't fix it. Would be nice if you could upload your d3d9.log somewhere.

I like this version of your mod better than the first one, because it's not as overbloomed and I really like the overall more colorful appearance :D

I would prefer it even more, if there was a way to stop the filters from darkening the game this much. It adds to the atmosphere on dark maps but it also darkens lighter maps too much (eg. Mos Eisley, which is set of course on the desert planet Tatooine, where the sunlight burns unrelenting and here the darkening is quite noticeable).
I also noticed, that the higher contrast causes darker areas fade (nearly) to complete black, which leads to detail loss.

At the end there is an additional tip:
Try to use a combination of the in FXAA and Sharpening inculded in ReShade to become a both very well anti aliased and sharp, crisp image, which looks way better than the ingame solution (set to OFF) while also being less hardware power demanding at the same time ;)

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the darkening is not perfect. The main part of the work was to find the right balance between the dark Endor and very bright maps like Hoth and the Tantive. To enhance colours I use HDR simulation in this BETA version. The main problem is if I get the perfect look on Endor Hoth will be totally white.
For sharpening I alreadyuse adaptive sharpening, but I doubt that FXAA is better than in game MSAA, because MSAA is basically downsampling of edges and downsampling is definitly the best solution.
I even played around with 2k downsamplig in Battlefront and uploaded a little mod, but in 2k resolution Battlefront ocassionally crashed at the start so I archived the mod.
However I will think about ppAA since many people reported performance issues.

Much of this beat is better than the previous one, without the long load times, only gripe with this is performance wise, I can only hit 30 fps. When it came to colour saturation I gotta say it really does make the game pop out. A bit too excessive on the darkening of areas

The only problem I can say with this beta is that the artificial darkness, this mod produces is a bit too much, and when it comes to performance I still get a low frame rate.

I'd say keep the colour saturation but tweak the darkness level, can't see in some maps at all. And high contrast dosen't help at all.

Are you using the latest version of Reshade? I seem to be encountering a game crash at start, that is similar to crashes in older versions of Reshade. I have a gtx 1060 graphics card, and get similar errors with the 2017 mod as well. Not sure if you know of some kind of fix?

It was the current Reshade version when I posted it. I will release an update with Reshade 3.x in future. The 2017 mods use very outdated versions like my 1.0 version, they all use only Master Effect, which isn't supported anymore.

Hi, I've been trying every one of your Graphics Mods and I get the same result every time. The game doesn't load and sends back to desktop with error 'stopped working'. I've noticed others have had similar problems, but I've not seen a fix or an answer on here. Is there a way to get this working? Is it a Windows 10 thing?

I did try one of them and just deleted the d3d9.dll file and the game loaded OK, but froze on exiting a INstant Play game.

Can you help? I want this to work. Thanks.

Without d3d9.dll my mod does not affect the game anymore, so the crash is not related to my mod.

I have the 1.0 version and am going to install this update, should I delete the "Mastereffet" folder from the 1.0? As there is none in 1.1.
