exactly...well you can but you cant play against the beast in cpu the beast AI does nothing at the moment, we are currently working on the AI right now.

I'm having the same problem, so if you git an answer can you tell me?
you need to place the .big file into your homeworld 2 data folder, then in a short cut add "-mod "name of the .bigfile""
To make this easier, please copy and paste the shortcut you have.
now i can't start a game(in the Beast Evolution Mod V1.00 Full game)! i tried a lot of the maps but the game crashes as soon as the map/game lodes. can you help me?? I'm only trying CPU games because there aren't any Beast Evolution Mod players online.
Omg. I don't know how to set this up. I'm pretty anxious to play this mod, I'm a huge fan of the beast, but with no readme or I'm in the total dark on how to get the mod working. Someone help?

Recently gotten back into Homeworld 2 and been trying out mods, but this mod won't start a game. It works up until the player vs Computer game is actually supposed to start, i.e. loads all the way then quits. It might be because its a Mac (I do have 1.1 installed), but idk.
I can't get the mod to work. The game itself (Homeworld 2) Don't know what I did wrong but I used the same method for making a mod shortcut as the one found here Moddb.com
