This mod is a reconfiguration of the 2016 Graphics Mod made by NMir. My main objective was to make the game more realistic by sharpening the image, normalizing color saturation, improving game lighting, using a more subtle bloom and making it compatible with ALL the maps (there are some graphics enhancers that are glitchy in white maps like Hoth, or in Space).

I tried this mod succesfully in every default map. It works amazingly with Battlefront Evolved Mod, which improves the game models and textures, and Rezzed Maps, which are High Definition maps.
There is a considerable improvement in ground maps (especially HD maps), and a slight improvement in space maps. I found that if you exagerate the configuration values you might get good results for space, but then ground maps would look oversaturated or just too bloomish, making it impossible to play. I tried the mod to be balanced, and I hope to get a good configuration for Depth of Field soon (if you feel like sharing your presets, send me a PM). First time uploading a mod, I put a lot of time in this so I sincerely hope you enjoy it!
• Installation:
Move the content of the "GraphicsMod" folder into your gamedata folder.
I configured the mod with Bloom ON, but if you find it's too bright for you, try lowering in game brightness or turning in game bloom off.
Trigger key in game: F11 (buggy, you need to try several times).
I like how you set up the shaders, very well done - this is the best graphics mod so far for the two classic Battlefronts (yes, it also works with BFI) :D
For further improving the visuals I recommend to enable the FILMICCURVE, which adds some extra lightness in areas which are 'sunlighted', eg. Mos Eisley looks more 'deserty' when you use it ;)
Great to hear it works in BF 1. I'll try filmic curve, but always remember after every setup, try HOTH!! It may look TOO white.

I used it on Rhen Var in BFI (which is nearly as white as Hoth) ... it was quite white but still playable.

I learned from playing around with the MasterEffect settings, that the included SMAA is both more accurate and less hardware demanding than the ingame AA ... I recommend, to try it out for yourself (ingame AA [off] - MasterEffect SMAA [1])

great job man, hoth is still kinda bright but not as bright as the 2016 mod, tantive also looks a lot better now
Thanks for commenting, I find it a little bright too BUT that effect sort of makes the snow more real right?
Anyways, I'm working on a texture fix especially for Hoth.
My game crashes at startup, I am running a nvidia graphics card (GTX 1060 to be exact). Not sure if there is some fix you may know of?
I also have tested other graphics mods and I get similar problems, the game runs fine without graphics mods.
I can only advise you to do the usual:
Update drivers, reinstall game, try reshade in other games.
If you still have issues, It's beyond my comprehension. May the force be with you,

It is probably just my computer but I seem to lag when I turn the Graphics Mod on. It takes forever to load and exit maps.
It's probably it :) I'm doing mods trying to achieve the best graphical improvements considering modern hardware capabilities... not thinking about performance nor old pcs. Sorry! :(
btw you can try reducing the view distance or ingame bloom. Maybe disabling some features, but it won't look as good as the pictures.
i too am having that happen. i have conv 2.2 patch mod and dark times II mod and of course the v 1.3 patch and battlefront evolved all installed and all working very well. exception being this mod.
im having the same problem as some have encountered an extraordinarily long load screen. i have bf evolved and a few other mods installed and they are all installed correctly. cant really give you my specs because i dont know how they compare and it seems irrelevant if it runs smoothly otherwise. but its just not going past the load screen when i start a map like hoth. tried it on a couple others and got the same problem. of anyone can respond with helpful advice i would be grateful. thanks.

does this work with steam? i installed it by moving the files within the mod folder into my gamedata folder and it launches fine with the lil mssg you have on there welcoming us to the mod but once i try to fight on a map it crashes. :(
Try installing it to a fresh install of BF2. Be sure to follow the instructions step by step.
I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but the graphics aren't changing.

Is the Battlefront evolved mod required for this?
No. You only need the base game
