I wanted to make a mod for bf2 2005 and I don't know how. How do I make custom maps and eras as well as custom new units? by the way I like your new profile picture.

is modding hard? can a guy with an average joes computer and basic knowledge of coding mod?
Modding is hella hard, especially if you just start modding. However when I started modding I had a really trash computer (2gb Ram and took 40 mins to turn on) and really basic knowledge of coding, heck the only coding like things I did before modding was just making Scratch games.
thank you for the reply I made scratch games too that's my knowledge of codding too tried making a mod shortly I posted this. after I made it it corrupted my battlefront 2 game data 'meaning I could no longer play the game and the map was blank when I tried editing it it had no land no nothing I tried making a new one using jedimoose32s tutorial and I couldn't edit the Munging file now I don't know what I did please help. Oh and if you can help me I'm trying to make a bad batch mod how do I make custom characters and weapons because I don't see anything in mod tools or tutorials on the internet. thank you.

Also with custom models - the models in this mod are by my friend Alfking49, some are made from scratch and some are imported from sketchfab using Autodesk Softimage 2015
