This week we added two new spells, an ice spell and a teleportation spell. We also added two new levels, an arctic level and a dark mountain level. We added this content because our game had only one level previously and needed more content. We tweaked our level win conditions from simply killing waves of enemies to finding enemy spawners and destroying them. We did this to encourage the players to explore the levels. We also added more wacky effects for when the player drinks, such as a beer goggle shader. We did this because we wanted to build up more around our core mechanic. Finally, we added npcs to involve the player more with the world and give them context to some of the gameplay. For next week we plan to implement more enemies and bosses. We also plan to build more around our core drinking mechanics and increase the theming.
