In your installation folder go to BomberCrew_Data > Managed and back up your Assembly-CSharp.dll then replace with the one provided. Start game and enjoy. Updated for USAF!
It should work for normal as well, let me double check I only tested in USAF. You don't need to be in tagging mode. I think you do need a radio operator though.
That didn't used to happen. I'm sorry. There were many updates between when I posted and now. I'll check it out in the following days and post an updated assembly-csharp file. All I did was modify a file that is supplied by the game. Since there were updates I'm surprised it doesn't break more.
Game stops responding at launch :(
huh I'll check it out maybe there was an update.
Can you please fix this mod. Tagging planes blows. Thanks
Fixed! Sorry it took so long! It's ready for USAF :D
Is this only for USAAF? I was just playing and the game didn't tag anything. or do I have to be in tagging mode?

It works with normal as well, but you need a radio operator, the tagging works through the radio operator station.
For anyone interested in using this with the Twitch version, it does work, you just need to place Assembly-CSharp.dll in
\Twitch\Games Library\8c105008-09cb-4049-a10f-f4a6c55aa4c7\BomberCrew_Data\Managed
I'm not sure how Twitch names game folders, so your folder might be different from my "8c105008..." folder.
Thanks for the mod, this makes the game so much more enjoyable!
Tagging works great but it changes your crew and plane at start into veterans. More like a trainer which is infortunate
