The goal of this mod is to change most textures from original ACI to those from Assassin's Creed Revelations, so you will feel like you're playing Altair memories in Revelations rather than in old ACI from 2007.

When using the "Assassin's Creed Overhaul 2016 Full Version" game has Stopped working "the program "AssassinsCreed_Game.exe" at a time as soon as the mod of the "Optional Plugins" the game is working fine
it would be nice if you added some kind of instructions on how to install the mod ... and if there is it would be nicer if it's easier to find :) .... anyway thanks for the great mod that's actully my fav ac game and it's good that it's looks better so we can play it :)

The mod works with sweetFX ?
Some people can run it others not. I don't recommend sweetFX anymore because it looks different on every monitor and causes stability problems when combined with my mod.

So I'm not sure if this is normal, but neither Texmod or opentexmod work. Texmod crashes the moment I put in your tpf file, and opentexmod's "Open texture/package" tab button doesn't even work. Really dissapointed with the software.
I have the same thing! both texmod and opentex mod dont work when i apply overhaul. the game crashes on loading or at start. the optional textures give no problems

I follow your instructions to "launch OpenTexmod, then open game exe and choose my package". Well I'm assuming by "open game exe you actually meant to just add the exe under the Main menu options in OpenTexmod? I go there, select the DX9 exe, start the game as instructed then I click "open texture/package" to add your texture pack but clicking this button does absolutely nothing.
Not sure why your instructions don't work, are they incorrect and need updating or am I not following correctly? Seems like pretty simple instructions to follow yet they aren't working to set this mod up.
** I already solved this issue so for anyone else having problems it seems to be an common issue of remembering to set OpenTexmod to run as an administrator. Once I did this now everything works fine.**

Hi. I have found a bug in your mod. In the original game collectible flags emit glow, but after applying your mod they stop emiting it at all, which make them much harder to find. I was actually looking for a mod that would make it easier to find flags and came across your mod. Say, would you please make an optional plugin that'll make flags stand out much more so it would be easier to find them?

For anyone that's lagging incredibly from the mod, make sure to patch your AC1 EXE with the Large Address Aware tool (just google it). I'm also not using OpenTexMod or TexMod, instead I'm loading it using uMOD.
So I tried Texmod and OpenTex but my game keeps crashing when I enable your overhaul.
if your game crash, remember to downald the 4gb patch
