Modification which improves game balance, fixes some bugs and adds a lot of new content: new features, new graphics, new items, etc.
A short list of changes:
Some textures (and icons) of armor, weapons and NPCs have been replaced. New beautiful halos added to some enchanted objects.
Many NPCs strengthened (goblins, undead, dissidents, some others).
Added some more undead into the crypt.
A new opponent, which can be killed - an iron golem.
The ice dragon and Akbaa are slightly weakened now (reduced resistances to fire and magic).
All weapons and armor are rebalanced. Most of the weapons are more powerful, but some are less powerful. With the armor I did the same. Yilside armor isn't so powerful now.
Mithril and unenchanted meteorite weapons can be poisoned. Mithril weapons can be enchanted, but after addition of coltk enchantment will be lost. Feathered sword now required
dexterity, not strength, and can be found in ice caves and somewhere else. A cursed sabre is useful weapon for mages now.
New weapon enchantment added(by bottle of blood) - a vampiric enchantment.
All weapons enchantment depend on casting skill, exept dexterity enchantment(by garlic). Dextery enchantment depends on object knowledge skill.
New armor enchantments added - enchantment by powder of morning glory and new helmet enchantment - by powder of snow drop.
New weapons added - 2-handed goblin scimitar, 2-handed club, mithil feathered sword, meteor feathered sword and enchanted meteor feathered sword. Mithril and meteor feathered swords can
be made in dwarven forgery(the form of feathered sword can be found somewhere
on the 8 level). Meteor feathered sword cannot be enchanted by Zalnash.
Giant Slayer blade, assasin's dagger, feathered sword, forged 2-handed sword, jewelled dagger and jewelled sword now can be enchanted.
Added new set of chainmail with beautiful texture.
Added new powerful composite bow and assasin's short sword(you can find these things on the 6th
level).
Added new set of armor - Magic mythril plated armor. You can find it somewhere
in crypt. It's quite powerful alternative armor for thiefs and mages.
Golden armor have been changed. It's more powerful than ylside armor now.
Many innovations in blacksmithing.
Blade of a sword (without handle) can be forged from an ingot of iron. If you have high object knowledge skill you will forge 2-handed blade without handle.
From one-handed blade without handle you can forge:
- A short sword
- A long sword
- A sabre
- A jewelled sword
From the two-handed blade without handle (one can be found now in the smithy of Miguel, also it can be forged from ingot of iron - which depends on your object knowledge skill) you
can forge:
- Two-handed sword
- Two-handed axe
- Giant Slayer sword
- dwarven two-handed sword of excellent quality.
Feathered sword can be forged from a sabre(high object knowledge skill needed).
For such blacksmiting you will need a forge with bellows. The higher the object knowledge skill, the
better weapon you can made.
High level combat magic scrolls are added into inventories of some NPCs (and it is possible to steal
them). High level magic scrolls into some locked chests are also added.
Some doors and chests are easier to lockpick now. Maximum required technical skill = 75.
Now is possible to steal some keys from NPC, which wasn't been possible before.
The enchantment of magic rings are completely changed. Cursed rings and rings of misery are useful now.
Enchanting gold and silver rings with golem's hearts you can produce rings of fire and frost
protections(object knowledge skill of 70 needed)
Iron rings also can be enchanted by golem heart.
Now minstrel will play new songs for food and wine, not for gems.
A potion of restoration added. You can make it by mixing other potions(object knowledge of 80
required).
New weapon enchantment added.
New armor enchantment added.
Food are slightly modified - apples and vegetables now heal more than satisfy hunger. And more nourishing food satisfy hunger better, but heal worse. Also, fruits, vegetables and cakes regenerate
mana a little.
Cheese sandwiches added(thanks to Eduardo Valensuela).
A few easter eggs have been made. For example, try to give drinks to Polsius(use bottle or mug on him). And perhaps some other goblin would prefere blood).
Added some weapons and armor to shopkeepers, into the corpses and into the chests.
Bugs known:
Meteor feathered sword cannot be enchanted by Zalnash.
You will not see an iron golems after fist arriving to the Akbaa's temple. To fix this, you must save and load game.
NPC sometimes (rarely) stuck during the fight and cannot move.
NPC equipped with shields sometimes don't drop weapon and shield after their
death.
Modified game works less stable. I recommend you to save the game often and make backups of saves.

Is it compitable with arx libertatis?
Yes. It's fully compatible.
I am thinking on mixing this mod with the changes made by ArxExtended (to my sole use, unless I get permission to create a patch from both of you).
I understand this is a balancing mod (towards difficulty), what is excellent!
I just wonder if stuff added by the other mod could expand what was made on this mod, mainly items and crafting recipes, but I believe also it may become unbalanced (too easy). I havent played each long enough to know, neither looked at all files yet..
Initially they seem incompatible, as I got frozen mobs after trying both together.
The scripting is fair easy to understand, this means "I know what I am doing" (to a point) :)
My friend! For your personal use you may do whatever you wish, but I think that merging my mod and Eduardo's mod is a wrong idea. Concepts of these two mods are too much dufferent, so I think that Eduardo's armor and weapons crafting system has no place in my mod. I prefer my own weapon crafting system, actually).
Perhaps adopting only Eduardo's potions and cooking receipts to my mod would be not so bad idea. Also, his small quest for selling beer mugs to Tizzy is nice too (I will ask Eduardo's permission to adopt this funny quest into the next version of my mod).
I forgot to create a description for assasin's short sword in Utext_English.ini. It's a kind of dagger or short sword with dagger attack animation. Damage +6, critical chance +60%, stealth +15%; requires dexterity 12, close combat 40. It can be found on 6th level.
Ну что могу сказать, мод крашится стандартно через каждые пол часа, и зачарование не возможно, сразу вылетает ошибка памяти. честно не знаю каким образом можно выпускать такие сырые вещи в массы, оно не то что не работает, а скорее все нервы вынесет пока попытаешься пройти, а в итоге на середине пукан таки не выдержит.
Ну что могу сказать... Молодой человек, вы Аркс сперва научитесь ставить по людски, чтоб он не сбоил, потом чужие моды критикуйте. У добрых людей мой мод не крашится и отлично работает. Я лично его проходил полностью три раза. Ни одной фатальной ошибки в моде нет, не врите. Лучше не играйте в него, если нет толку. И вообще Аркс для вас сложноват, наверное.

Привет. Я вот решил поиграть в этот мод,и когда я дошёл до кузницы Гномов,я там не нашёл митрилового нагрудника. Можете примерно подсказать где находится ?
Мифриловая кираса совсем в другом месте - в склепе, причем глубоко и под охраной. И мифриловая кольчуга совсем в другом месте.
Ещё я обнаружил не приятный баг. Баг заключается в том ,что при попытки зачаровать любую вещь ,игра вылетает и выдаёт ошибку
Не должно быть такого. Мой мод проходили и на ванильном Арксе (я лично 3 раза проходил) и на Либертатисе без фатальных ошибок. Вы внимательно читали в ридми как использовать модифицированные исполняемые файлы? У Вас вообще какая версия Аркса, для начала? Либертатис или оригинальный Аркс?
З.Ы. А еще бывает на некоторых системах Аркс встает неправильно и выдает целую кучу багов.
Да читал,поставил и делал, как там было написано. Аркс у меня был чистый,но версии от GOG.
Версия от GOG - это, если не ошибаюсь, оригинальный Аркс Фаталис. Оригинальный Аркс на современных компах не идет нормально, надо Arx Libertatis ставить (а у Libertatis юзать родной исполняемый файл). Мод с Arx Libertatis совместим полностью, люди тестировали. Всё у них под Libertatis работало.
Гда скачать Arx Libertatis и как поставить Вы уже сами сможете нагуглить, я надеюсь.
Вообще смог вылечил. Это проблема оригинального Аркса патча 1.21. . Честно впервые с таким багом встретился. Но большое спасибо ,что пытались помочь.
how do i install it
Install Arx Libertatis first, then copy contents of my mod into the game folder. Run executive file of Libertatis. Do not run modded .exe files from mod archive.
