12.06.2014 This is an art patch 1.0 for "SplitWolf" (beta 2) How to use: Just replace the original lwmp folder with this one (deleting or overwriting the original folder) What's new? ============= Better player and SS sprites (by DoomJedi) Fett and Otto 8-directional Boss frames (by UnTrustable) Special thanks for Untrustable for the Boss frames. * NOTE: "SplitWolf" supports quite some classic Wolf3D mappacks and mods, including (tested) but not only: > "SoD Extreme" > "Odds and Ends" > "Bitter End" > "Thomas Wolfenstein 3-D Mapset"

Well, I still try to convince our coder to make Beta 3 or at least 2.5 (we do have some ideas and even new player animations for those) - but meantime I thought you guys should at least get the improved art I've made since, why to play old art if I have better ones getting dust on my comp :)
More feedbacks from Beta 2 can sure have an effect on more betas. Beta 2 fixed Beta 1 bugs and weaknesses, and we didn't hear much new suggestions from you guys for what you guys want (beside net multiplayer that is)...so be more active, suggest things, give us feedback, otherwise we'll think Beta 2 is perfect :)
I also fully encourage you to record your play on youtube for us/others to share your fun, and also to promote "SplitWolf". There is not much Beta 2 videos on youtube outthere :)
I do have to mention we're very busy with our many other large Wolf3D projects in development, both public and more "under the radar". So "SplitWolf" is sort of...a side project in a way.

Sound is indeed not the best...but you seem to have much fun with this (so cool to see your real-time reactions) it's very rewarding to see, and motivates us further.

The only issue I have with the beta 2 is that sometimes, when I go to the controls menu, it crashes...usually it happens after I start a game.
Other than that, this is probably the most awesome mod out there!
If I only knew more people that still play wolf3D around my parts... :)

Yes, "Wolf3D buddy" problem is a big problem nowdays...known issue. Can't help you with Wolfer buddies...this is out of my scope of abilities :(

Will the third beta of SplitWolf include support for Spear of Destiny: Mission Packs?
