Angels Fall First: Planetstorm is an objective-based assault game fought both in space and on the ground. Featuring totally original art and completely new gametypes, we take you from flying gigantic capital ships, piloting fighters, and manning turrets to the traditional vehicular and infantry combat, both planetside and inside the starships themselves. At your command are more than two dozen ships and vehicles, including all original weaponry, 4 maps with full bot support, two custom characters, with more on the way. This is a total conversion mod in the fullest sense of the word. Welcome to Planetstorm.

hoopefully there's an Australian server, doubt it though...
Listen servers work though, same as in UT3. When you're playing, simply do that- it plays the same and you might get lucky and have a few people join.
either that or get a couple of friends together on steam :D

No, and no mod will work in a demo game. The only game I remember to have demo mods was Trespasser

Great game but i do have some qualms, bear with me, i know it is still early days yet.
Grenades bounce off everything, I tossed it at a SAM and it came straight back...
Windows in Camp Lewis (sandy ground action) was it? are a little too high, especially near the fuel depot,(thats what it is right, big fuel tanks) which means walls that should be chest height are about next height preventing me from looking down without jumping.
Also is it just me are guns too accurate without using the iron sights? meh
I'm totally digging the way spaces ships worked out, you should all be proud you did a fantastic job thus far!

I have Section 8 which uses the unreal 3 engin and unreal 3 as a base. Is there a way to for me to play this?
Never mind. I just bought UT3 Black so im gonna download.
Sorry for the late reply, but yeah, it's a different game, so it won't let you play our mod. :P Even if it does use the same engine.

Fail.....Installer intergity failed
Can someone help me out here with the installation?
its asking for the ...Unreal tournament 3\binaries\UT3.exe
and wants me to locate it with its select window but, when i go to my UT3 location and open the binaries, it doesn't show the .exe file. In fact, i don't even seem to have any files in binaries(yes i tried revealing hidden files)
it's just empty :C
Fixed, it seems Unreal had created 2 separate folders for itself and one of em my search button could not find, im not sure if it was some mod, update, patch or even just me having windows 7 that did this but if any1 else has the same problem try searching under: C:\Program Files (x86)\Unreal Tournament 3\Binaries
I am using windows 7 and unreal tournament 3 version 2.1. there are files in the folder binaries.
If you have a shortcut on desktop do this:
1: Right click on the shortcut and click "properties"
2: click "open file locations"
and that ut3 is the location you have to do in the setup.
or other ways copy the target in properties.
and there might be those files in:
C:\Users\=username=\Documents\My Games -please delete this- \Unreal Tournament 3\Binaries
or
C:\Users\=username=\AppData\Local -please delete this- \VirtualStore\Program Files\Unreal Tournament 3\Binaries
I installed the mod like this:
1: I downloaded 2.1 patch because the mod needs 2.1
2: I started the setup of planetstorm and followed the instructions.
3: I clicked the shortcut and it works!!
but there is a little problem playing the map "lixon" runtime error comes. but when i adjust game resolution to lowest it goes well. i am using 1GB graphics card but i dont know why this happens. can someone help?
and sometimes when i am playing there comes a error call "low of memory" looks like ram is not good. but still i can play the game without clicking close program
This game lags like hell on my computer, even though other games with higher graphics quality work smooth.
