every time I go to launch the mod, steam forces a validation of files preventing the mod from starting up. How do I avoid this or fix it?

This is an issue if you mess with the wargame.exe or move it around. If you just place the AOW NDF in the *******639 folder than this should not occur.

The recent Red Dragon update killed the mod. I tried reinstalling it but it won't work. I put the NDF file in the 639 folder by replacing the old one but no changes happen anymore.

UPDATE!!!! I managed to fix it so far by replacing the NDF file in EVERY numbered folder starting with 430000210 all the way through to 510011681. I'm going to play test a game to see if it continues to work.

UPDATE 2 - Everything seems to be working like it use to. Nice mod by the way, makes playing as Nato much less frustrating.

I sorted out the mod so it can easily be downloaded. It contains only your NDF file in every single folder, making it a simple drag and drop type installation. Can I send you the file?

Is this the only solution or will we get a mod update soon?

Here let me simplify that process for you. Put the NDF.dat file in the latest patch which can be found using this process.

an example of finding the latest patch ACCURATELY.

the folder inside the latest patch (Patch 430000633 for example) will have the next patch in a folder so Patch 430000639 will be a more recent update of the game.

let's **exit** out of patch 430000633 and then look inside folder 430000639, however, it has a folder inside of it so let's go to that patch which seems to be 510011681. Exit out of patch 430000639 into WarGame/PC/(Inside folder) 510011681.

It then leads to folder 510012575 which if we exit folder 510011681 and look at 510012575 it does not have a folder with a number in it, but the NDF.dat is the only item in the folder patch. It is now confirmed the latest patch is this folder of the game and so we can use the program to modify it with the steps mentioned above.
If the folder does not have another folder but a .dat file, then that is the recent patch of the game. Hope it helps.

Now you don't have to put the NDF file in all the games update folder.
