A better balance of spices and ingredients to the last version of this quick-load simulator. Just kidding, you'll enjoy this one a lot more than the last. The interface is superior, the controls are less sluggish and the demons will actually let you kill them.

This standalone add-on for Brutal Doom is infamous for being much more relentless than its surrogate. There are a few more features, but expect it to be nothing like Project Brutality. It is much simpler and has the more defined goal of feeding ghost chilly ice-cream to whoever is lucky enough to suffer through it.
Anyway, compared to the last version (0.7b), here's the change-log:
--Faster Weapon Selections
--difficulties below Ultra-Violence added.
--prompt for editing default settings
--removal of the default Bull-sh.. enemy option
--reduced main file size from 52mb to 37mb
--tested with more map-packs a little more thoroughly
--Reduced the enemies difficulty as well as their item drops
For the Campaign Maps
--Episode 1 was mostly remastered
--The first 6 maps of Episode 2 were finished

When I initially saw his review, I took note of all the random grenades he threw at nothing. And the missed invulsphere. And forgetting to showcase features that were blatantly shown in the trailer.
We all miss stuff, sometimes we forget to setup extra controls, I know I'm guilty of that mistake occasionally. But if you're going to review something you owe it to the dev to try and get as much correct as possible. Mr Icarus normally seems to do some research though I have not seen the video in question. I enjoy trying something out first without any fore knowledge, so in general I don't watch many reviews, IMO too many people allow their expectations to be set by others.
Plus, whats up with these professional games journalists that cannot play worth a ****? Why is someone employing them, you don't review cars if you've never driven one, so just wtf?

He already hates sub-mods for Brutal Doom, and might even hate this more than Project Brutality. He's definitely heard of ABD after Icarus's review

I was looking forward to this update, and it hasn't disappointed. After Project Brutality, this is the best BD submod. As I said before, I've not tried it with the mappack, but in vanilla and most other pwads, it works very well, with fast fun gameplay and a balanced selection of weapons. Keep this up Ali, I think this is one time where Mr Icarus is wrong

You're welcome. If there's one thing I think isn't great, it's the chainsaw. I'm not a huge fan of it, im not certain it looks right. That really is a nitpick in all honesty though, not a major issue, and it really doesn't detract very much from what is a well made mod.
The chainsaw is one of the oldest sprites in the mod (2016) and it desperately needs an update.

I like this mod a lot, but it has a big problem for me. I like to play nightmare mode with respawning enemies but even with "monster respawn" option on enemies still won't respawn. Can you make an override?
