We're happy to bring you Ages of the Federation 0.76. This version fixes a load of errors in 0.75 and fixes some issues that you were having with zooming in and out smoothly. It also adds some nice flavour content detailed below. I hope you enjoy it folks.

Version 0.76 of Ages of the Federation truncated patch notes (fuller version to follow in a follow up news piece, once I've checked what everyone's done):
- Zoom stutter rectified by the inclusion of texture mipmaps.
- Addition of several new maps including the communities' favourite STA3 maps.
- Several balance changes in order to improve early to mid game issues between the Federation and Klingons.
- Load-time partially mitigated and reduced with the deletion of stock assets from the load order.
- Addition of several new Random Events.
- Addition of two new minor factions (Orion Syndicate and Reman Sepratists) complete with new abilities.
- Multiple bugfixes.
Install Instructions:
Once you've downloaded the file, use the unzipper of your choice (we prefer and advocate 7Zip, but you might have something else and it should work correctly) to unpack the contents of your folder to My Documents - My Games - Ironclad Games - Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion - Mods-Rebellion 1.85 .
You should be prompted to overwrite the EnabledMods.txt . If you haven't, something's gone wrong!
You will be unzipping two items into the folder:
Ages_Of_The_Federation_0.76 and EnabledMods.txt. If you have unzipped a single folder called AOTF 0.76 then your mod is in a container folder and you'll need to take both the aforementioned files OUT of that folder and put them into Mods-Rebellion 1.85 - I can't stress this enough, it's the primary cause of most people's inability to install the mod correctly.

Klingons need a little more love as they seem underpowered to me.
Something changed with the planet info window. when you hover over a planet the info window no longer shows what kind of resources are in the gravity well, only how many.
I have tried every ship the federation has and I still cannot find the anti-fighter ship class and keep getting wrecked by klingon bombers, am I missing something?

I'm getting mini-dumped at the main loading screen. I would really like to try this mod.
Mod doesn't seem to be working. It crashes the game at the initial loading screen right after launching the game.

It doesn't work with 1.90 either. You guys should either:
1. make compatibility patches
2. make a Total Conversion dump file to replace the vanilla files in the game directly, that will work with any version (the mod is 5gigs, so using up an entire copy of the game for it won't be that much bigger)
3. just use the models/meshes to make a Starfleet Command 3 mod for it. (3days of work max if you have the meshes/models)
4. put up a pack with milkshape compatible meshes so people can make their own mods. (if I keep being unable to play this I will make an sfc3 mod (easy peasy) for it - it would save a lot of time if I had the meshes)
What the heck happened to these comments? Someone got a chip on their shoulder?
