Hey guys! Having some trouble here. After download i get this message "can not open file 'C:\users\admin\appdata\local\temp\petty_kings_3.rar' as archive" I tend to use 7zip to open files.
Anywho, if you have any advice I would be much appreciative. Thanks!
The problem is likely 7zip, I'm using WinRAR and it works fine.
Im the same,its always winrar i use so that might be it
Make sure you don't use Edge/Internet Explorer to download from Moddb, both browsers corrupt .rar files badly.
I didn't know that, mind you I pretty much only use chrome
I have downloaded the mod. I don’t seem to have the new units. I looked in custom battles and the Starks have wintermoor troops only. Started a campaign and am seeing the same.
I placed the zip folder in the mod folder and extracted.

Its only the Targaryen faction whos elites have been added to custom battles at the moment, they will be in next version.
You probably changed the name of the mod map because you have the original installed. I assume the batch-file searches for a map called 'Petty_Kings_3' so it opens the original rather than the submod.
Can anyone post the download instructions so I can see if I am doing it right?
I deleted the old Age of Petty Kings and WTW folders and zips in the mod folder.
Extracted the Petty_Kings_3.rar file in the mod folder.
Load through the batch file.

That should be exactly it, if it isn't working try deleting the .bin files and the .rwm file then relaunch
The folder in the mods folder should be called petty_kings_3, make sure if you are using winrar you go into the file prorperties before you extract and unblock the .rar file
How is quick way to find out if the modd is installed correctly? As the Starks, still only have access to Wintermoor units. Thanks
If the changes to the map like weirwoods and stuff are present then its installed correctly.

You get other factions troops from house buildings by conquering the regions. You can also recruit your own troops anywhere by building the hinterland garrisons and patrols.
Is anyone else getting a corruption message for this mod? i'm using a "meh" mac but it can handle bigger and more complicated files then this and the beta for this mod works. I don't have anything that is incompatible with its unpacking but Stuffit Expander ain't working. Is this only for windows now or am I just stupid?
Im no sure if it is compatible with a mac i would assume so, what browser are you using? Cause i got told certain browsers can corrupt the rar file

It's hard keeping up with all these Game of Thrones mods for Medieval II, but someone's gotta do it. I don't know if this is ASMR or an install video. I did make a major OOF near the beginning but I corrected it in the video, so sorries for that. But anyway, please let me know if you run into any issues with this installation and I will get back to you! Great mod!

Where do you have medieval 2 installed and is it disc or steam version?
