Tein Bessa was the first system to utilize the 'Heaven and Hell' concept that Battalia Requiem will feature. The system had a distinct feel of being caught between the two factions of the game. While the system was not aligned to either side, it carried characteristics of both concepts. The system has Romulan natives within the map as the initial story arc had Tein Bessa down as a test bed for new warp technology by the Romulans which had caused damage to the system by stretching the suns solar flares across the system. The system played a key role in the Terran story arc of Battalia Requiem.
