oh lawd!! This is indeed EXTREMELY 80s to the EXTREME.
your power snare could use a little more power. I mean..if you want it to be extra 80s nasty of course ;)
i recommend a strong reverb and noise gate on the snare. This should make for an excessively 80s punchy snare that will haunt your dreams and incite comments like "been listening to mr Gabriel and Collins eh?"

yeah the power snare is like using black magic...dark. evil. black. magic.
It ultimately corrupts and is not to be wielded by everyone..but in any case- that's the recipe.
