In 1.6 version the tanks fight is more realistic, all vehicles have their attack based on the gun penetration data and the strength is based on their armour thickness.
There are around 50 new models.
We introduced new infantry skins for different war theaters linking them to the terrains.
There are new sounds for all vehicles and artillery units.
The governments assigned to each country should reflect the historical war period.
A german version of the mod made by Smarty (Martin R.) is available.
We fixed some bugs as the sea maps and autoplant bugs.
You can find all new features in the "WHAT IS NEW.txt" file under the "README" folder of the mod or click on "read more" in the Description of this download.

I guess you mean the new model of T34-76 for Soviet Union, right now it's used just by Finland for a lack of skins and I'll restore it back when new skins are available for both countries.

a WW2 CTW Campaign is in our project and to can play it we'll upload a release replacing the original game files.
Of course before to do that we need to have a bugs free version of the mod.

Regarding Poland, it's already in the mod: select the Mongols Tribe to play it.
Ther s a bug in kingdom of bulgari with the farms and stables they cant be
build i lil be very happy if this bug is reapered.

I'm sorry, but it's part of the tribe's attributes (The Kingdom of Bulgaria has the Power of the Plains. Receive food for every Citizen, Scout, and Cavalry unit (except when garrisoned) instead of building Farms and Granaries.) and I don't know if it's something what can be changed.
tanks for the answer i see at least can the price of the normal fighint units be reduced there price starts to increase and reaches 440 food and so I have no chance to make well formed army thanks again

i can not install this mod. actually i have a win 7 os and it says "the program didnt installed properly" and i can not see the mods in quickbattle menu and there is no changes in the game also. do u think what i do wrong.

during the install you should select the main RON directory (..\Microsoft Games\Rise of Nations) clicking on the button with 3 dots when the install program shows the message "Choose an installation folder and click Next to continue."
ok my friend i ve sucessed to install it and my first oppinion u ve done a great job. game does not seem as an amateur mod but an original expansion pack by BHG. and i need to congrulate u and ur team once more a time for graphics i think BHG can not handle it better.
and a complain about game: i was dreaming i can play a Kaga Class Carrier. but believe me friend it is not Kaga in the game. Kaga is this,

i know american models have better looking than japaneses but if i prefer american carriers i would take United States. there is 2 reason why i played as Japan first; Kaga and Zeros...

i think the unit balances need to be rehandled. especially infantry and aircraft units. infantries are melting when attacking to an enemy armor or city or redoubt etc. i sent 30 naval infantries to a reduced city and all die in five mins. even leat of 5 infantry were able reach the city. they should resist a little bit more.
every kind of aircrafts are too much weak against ships and anti-aircraft guns. they r also melting when getting in a city area or attacking to a navy fleet. especially carrier aircrafts should be much more effective against seacraft. if we remember battle of midway, just one air squadron was able to sink 3 carriers within five minutes. also i sent 5 bomber+5 fighter to a city and only 2 bombers were able to drop bombs the rest 3 ones crushed immediately get in the city.
pls take all these critics as a feedback. i m real fan of RON and you ve done a good job. if you need user's feedback i can write much more about it.

NickoX, I am talking to you from Chile :D, Well first of all, congratulations because I think this is the best mod of all times, and I saw a comment about Police Car and Truck, The Supply Truck for Germany can you make it like a Opel Blitz, and if it possible for all countryes their respective supply truck, for the police car you can make like the Volkswagen of the Gestapo right now I dont remember wich was, but it's only an idea, Best Regards -Karl Schülke. ;DD

it's in our projects to have a different supply truck for, at least, axis and allied countries.
I had an opel blitz model, but unfortunally it's lost when my harddisk burned. I hope to find one on the net.
No way to have a police car, the number of units in RON is limited and we choosed to don't insert it, sorry!
I have 2 questions about this mod
1. I have the steam version of RON is it compatible with this mod (RON: Extended Edition)
2. and if it is how do I install it (i haven't installed mods for RON yet)

the mod comes with an installer, but it's not compatible with RON EE as the directory "Thrones and Patriots" doesn't exist in the Extended Edition version.
You can try to install it clicking on the 3 dots button when the installer shows the text "Choose an installation folder and click Next to continue." choosig the game folder (..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Rise of Nations).
Then you have to manually move the files under the "Thrones and Patriots" directoy to the main game folders (ai, art, data and mapstyles).
I suggest to make a backup copy of the game before to try it out.
I bought RON EE, but unfortunally it doesn't run under windows vista.
So I can't test it, sorry!

are the japanese Special Naval Landing Forces (japanese marines) in this mod??? if so that would be awesome. they are such a under represented unit, and the funny thing was they were some of the most elite troops the japanese had

right now the japanese have just a generic naval infantry shared with other countries, this is meaning that its attributes are set to a generic value. Only the uniform skins are made on the pics and drawings made on this unit.
In our projects we have a re-organization of infantry units to allow the insert of light machineguns, maybe in that time we can replace an existing unit with the japanese marines.

out of curiosity, i have the extended edition, none of the new skins show up at all and i get weird icons for land units and a supply wagon for the naval mines. did i do something wrong?

RON EE (the Steam version) has been adapted to be used with the Steam Engine and we uploaded a mod version to work with it at Steam Workshop:
