Development CryZone: Sector 23 in full swing at the moment the team is mostly occupied by scripting and plans to release a draft this spring. But what to do 3d-moddelers who have already completed their work on the project? That would not sit idly by team members who have completed their work in CryZone: Sector 23, participated in the development of a new project, which will probably become a new step in the development of the fantastic universe Dmitry Glukhovsky — Metro 2033. A few days ago, namely the 20th of March, the team «WoS Team» officially announced the project on the engine, CryEngine 3, which was named CryZone: M.E.T.R.O.! Genre of the future project - Horror-FPS with RPG elements.
This project represents a global modification for Crysis 2, mod will take us to a post-apocalyptic Moscow in 2033. We all remember the linearity of the gameplay of the game «Metro 2033» on the engine 4A-Engine. What will the new CryEngine 3? There are several distinctive features engine company Crytek. Among them not only excellent graphics and destructible, but thethe opportunity to create huge seamless location and support cooperative play modes! All this can be very useful in the universe Metro 2033. There is probably a limit to how open the gameplay in metro tunnels can be :)
But I like Metro 2033 for being linear... It always felt like it had that arcade feel, long lost in FPSs..

There is no such legal issues there, and hopefully will not be in the future.
With out mod tools for Crysis 2 how are you guys making this are those images from Cryengine 3 ?
I was wondering the same thing. AFAIK you can't really make a decent mod yet :/ Although I saw a video of someone using Sandbox 3 before Crysis 2 was released.. because back then it was shipped with the game if you know what I mean. (I can't say it explicitly because of the ToU I think).
Hey, please can you return the "Earth Worm Children" clan from METRO 2033 book into this mod? I still don't know why developers of METRO 2033 didn't put them in their game... this clan means a lot for METRO 2033 storyline. (if you don't remember they were some sort of Indians with bows)
The mod will be completely new story. However, what about this clan think.
