Though the Technocratic Combine prefers to use its own designs for work, the newness of their military and the need for defense means that a variety of existing vehicles have been hastily repainted, redone, and put into active service defending the United Technate. The "Chickenhawks" are one such unit, composed of a number of retrofitted Hawker Jumpjets. They are mostly kept on interception and point-defense duty around Lawrence, though can occasionally be seen operating on missions or touring the Combine's holdings.
