EA Phenomic, based in Ingelheim nearby Frankfurt, Germany, is an internal development studio of Electronic Arts Inc., the world's leading interactive entertainment software company, and creates innovative online RTS and RPG gaming experiences in high quality on PC online and console platforms for a worldwide community.

Headquartered in Ingelheim am Rhein, Germany, Phenomic Game Development was founded in 1997 by Volker Wertich, known by many as the mastermind behind the hugely successful “Settlers” series, where he played a major role in the development of the first and third part.

In August 2006 Phenomic became an internal development studio of Electronic Arts Inc. and is called “EA Phenomic”.

EA Phenomic focuses on the creation of outstanding computer and video games for an international audience, specializing in strategy, empire building and role playing games for PC, Console- and online media.

During development, emphasis is placed on the user experience and making games that are fun to play.
