3D Artist - Prop Modeller - Unpaid

Our team of indie game developers is currently working on an old school survival/horror game with a modern twist and heavy emphasis on puzzle solving and immersive storytelling over action; Thanatophobia.

Are you a driven and talented artist with a flair for the grim and gritty in indie gaming? Death Knell Games might be for you!

Requirements

  • 3Ds Max (or alternative)
  • Photoshop (or alternative)
  • Realistic low polygon modelling
  • UV Unwrapping
  • Lightmapping
  • Custom texturing: Diffuse and specular maps.
  • Normal map creation / generation
  • Must have a passion to create
  • Must be willing to learn and problem solve independently if needed
  • Must be highly motivated

Desirables, but not required

  • 3Ds Max multi-sub object materials and material ID's
  • Knowledge of UDK or The Unreal Engine 3
  • Basic knowledge of the UDK material editor

The team regularly meet's over Skype to discuss the game and features, a microphone, Skype and a personality are needed.

The position is unpaid until further notice.
