Founded on 3/14/2013 by Bizarre Monkey (Robert H. Clark), the CCC started with him and three good friends that soon attracted a lot of interest, and as a result new employees were brought on board who were willing to help out.
As of late in 2015, the CCC announced itself a non-profit game making collective, and that they would keep games free to their audience as long as possible.
In 2014 the CCC was hailed for it's release of Menagerie: Remastered!
In 2015 the CCC released Perseverance: Adherence, which was for a good while, was in the top 20 games on Desura.
The CCC has celebrated three years of game-making action, and shows no signs of stopping, only slowing a little due to the main developer being caught up with schoolwork, having to for the time, place personal projects as a second.
While mostly comprised of game devs, the Crazy Chimp Collective has become more of a close community of members, and one being in the CCC does not necessarily mean they have done anything to contribute toward a game.
