We at Carpe Diem, are pleased to announce that two 2D Artists have joined the team, bringing membership to fifteen. The 2D Artists are, Ian Schmidt from Long Beach, California, USA, and Mattia Righi from Milan, Italy. Ian will be working on Battle of the Blades, while Mattia has begun work on Conundrum. Both Ian and Mattia bring vital skills to the team, and both are greatful that we have given them a start in the games industry.

In other news, Conundrum is coming together well, with game production in full swing. Our model of Glenn Miller is fast taking shape, with modelling nearing completion, and rigging now underway. And voice acting for Rasputin is about 2/3 completed.

Finally, a significant milestone was reached, with production on our second game, Battle of the Blades, comencing. However, just days after production began, it indefinitely ceased, due to the stark realistation that the project would be too ambitious for the team to continue with, at the present time. As a result, the entire team has pooled their efforts, into making Conundrum, with a 3-Level demo version, hopefully released in the first quarter of next year.
