About

The 9CCN (9th Chinese Channel Net) MOD TEAM is a team of modders active in the Homeworld series. Our past projects include the FX:Commander, FX:Empire and Gundam SEED mods (HW2Classic); in the present we are known for the FX:Galaxy mod (Homeworld Remastered). We are also responsible for localizing Homeworld Remastered and HW:Deserts of Kharak in Chinese, opening the franchise up to new players.

The 9CCN Mod Team is a subsidiary of 9CCN, a China-based community that is formed of players who love their games and are driven by a desire to innovate and create. Over the years the team has taken on a more international character as our projects gained an increased presence in the international/western modding community. As such, our work is localized in English as we now work together with modders from all over the world.

The FXmod itself is and cannot be open-sourced for various reasons, but we do our best to try and open source the things we can. Below are some of our contributions to the Homeworld modding scene:

Members

The 9CCN (MOD TEAM) is an open community. Users can drop by, do modding work on a title they like, and leave again anytime they like.

This ModDB page mainly serves as an anchor for some of the people working on the FX:Galaxy mod. The (current) members of the Homeworld branch are: HW_Lover, lone_wolf, WildHeart|GENESIS|, Unlimited_X , dreadnought9ccn and 图门卿夫斯基.
