This is my pack that I use to play doom. It include high-res texture packs, better quality music, high-res HUD, High quality sounds, Doom Resource pack, new sky boxes, and better shadows and lighting. Its about 200mb but looks amazing. All the credit goes to Kurikai and others for creating these awesome things. This is compatible with Zdoom (Included) and GZDoom. For GZDoom just don't extract the Zdoom executable and the Zdoom.pk3 The games supported in this pack are: Doom, Doom II, Final Doom, Final Doom: TNT Evilution, The Plutonia Experiment. Update: I sorted the files and included a Readme to make it easier.

Just tested it in GZdoom and it works perfectly, just don't extract the zdoom executable and the zdoom.pk3

Just because it's more up-to-date doesn't mean it's better. Take Doom/Doom 2 and Doom 3 for example.

dude i need help! im very interested in using the skyboxes that you provide in these files but i cant get them to work (im using gzdoom btw) the only thing i can get to work is the zdoom-dhtp-20130802.pk3 file, but the many skyboxes like slide-doom2-sky1.pk3 doesnt work what to i have to do to get them all to work properly, do i have to put them in folders or load them in-game or i dont know, can you please tell me what do i have to do to use those pretty skies ?
And no reference to the original makers of these packages... :-(
