Description
The purpose of this package is to make doom 3 much better texture quality. The textures have a noticeably higher resolution and much sharpness than original textures. Features: -over 500 High resolution textures -Most texture are 16 times bigger than original doom 3 texture. for example if the original texture had resolution 256 * 256, now has resolution 1024 * 1024 -About 85%-90% textures is completely retextured (modeling in 3d max, baking, drawing), 10-15% textures is rescaled and overlay other texture in higher resolution -large number textures has height maps, so looks rally wonderful with parallax occlusion mapping or relief mapping

Wow, watched some of the video and by that screenshot, this pack looks incredible. Unfortunately my copy got lost (and I still haven't finished the game!), if I ever pick it up again (which I'm planning to do, even more so now) I'll definitely pick up this pack.

Copy models, textures and glprogs(if you want pom) folders into the base folder.
If you want run together texture pack and other mods: Copy texture, models folders into mod directory.

I'm trying it out now will rate, I overwritten the original files. I hope I installed it right :/ Again excellent work at over 1 GB of textures you deserve to get recognized in all the game sites ;D
which offset mapping do you use to get the best effect? i am also using sikkmod with these textures and monoxead

To use parallax occlusion mapping without using other mods can I put the the "parallax occlusion mapping" folder into the base folder too?

Yeah, I'm confused on were to put the file exactly.
i know most of the people who download this are probably die hard doom fanatics who already know every thing there is to know about modding the game but for those of us who aren't familiar with the doom engine basic installation instructions would really be appreciated

I don't see any changes which this mod gives. I see the beauty screens on this site, but I see no changes in real game except lower fps.
