Additional player feedback when shooting/getting shot
A gameplay script that adds additional hit feedback when someone is shot.
For all human characters (NPCs or Player):
For the player only:
The mod is only configured for vanilla outfits.
To add additional outfits, you must add them to configs/plugins/wepl_hit_effect_outfits.ltx
To add additional character models, you must add them to configs/plugins/wepl_hit_effect_visuals.ltx

Cool stuff. Might force you to throw your PC outta window on Iron Man, though. :D
Nice! I was tired of the lack of feedback in a gunfight. 10/10
Now this is ******* nice!
is it possible this could be made to run on the Patched 1.4.22 version?
I'm getting crashes as soon as I'm shot.
Cheers for any help.
Script only works with 1.5's engine.
I can't do anything about it.
Damn, thanks for replying anyway..!
CoC 1.5 r7, even though still in beta,
it has significant improvements over 1.422.
Hey....I'm sure 1.5 does have some great improvements.
I don't suppose you know if CoC 1.5 is compatible with many 1.4.22 mods? Such as AO 3.1, OA 1.4.7, Smurths HUD, etc? That's the only reason I'm hesitant to upgrade it
This R7 version of CoC 1.5
is compatible with AO3.1
and Smurth's HUD
(It has integrated the 'OutfitAddon')
I also recommend this small addon
Other mods/addons are currently ... problematic.
Thanks for the reply mate.
Oh I didn't know there was AO3.1 and Smurth's for 1.5, the ones I found only said up to 1.4.22, thanks for that =)
I found other mods I use have 1.5 updates, like Loot Money, Dr.X Dynamic Anomalies.
Outside of that, the only 4 mods I'm waiting for are
-Dr.X Dynamic Factions
I couldn't find any updated versions of these.
I don't suppose you know if they've been updated somewhere or integrated?
Everything else I use is texture replacements and small tweaks, like to weapon damage, I'm sure I can do that manually.
Thanks for the links and help =)
Last time I checked CoC 1.5 (not sure what "r" version) and used AO 3.1 it had HORRIBLE reticle sights when looking through them with night vision. Since I go out at night a lot it stuck out like a sore thumb and although I liked a lot of improvements it was too noticeable for me to enjoy as they looked like low res pixels.
Is this still an issue? (I'm assuming it's part of AO and not CoC)
I'm afraid I haven't tested it yet, not ready to start a new game just yet. What if you try another mod like this
Dodge These Gnomus Scopes
it's merely a DDS texture replacement for the scopes, so I can't imagine it causing any crashes even if it's not made for 1.5....worst case, some weapons won't have updated scopes if AO for 1.5 adds new weapons
getting crash with no explanation when shot
Because you're using 1.4.22.
Great work !.
It increases the immersion significantly.
I look forward to any updates or other addons like this one.
Any chance for an anomaly version
Says in the description:
Call of Chernobyl 1.5
Most other mods
This Mod is compatible with "Road to the North"?
OWR compatible with this addon? If yes, will shot effect work?
Duty Nosorog for me is not making any sound, is it possible? I'm using the player and npc version ofcourse.
Game is Anomaly
Edit: yes the mod lacks new armor additions of latest versions of Anomaly
When I get hit by a boar I get a really exaggerated effect where my weapon clips through my face... could that be caused by this mod?
I tested it further and it seems to be in the base game that if I ADS after getting hit in by a boar with no outfit my characters face clips through my ak
I'll try it, will report if see anything off.
Thanks for your work!
I've made an edited version of this mod that includes all the armours in STALKER Anomaly, but I'm not sure about uploading it unless I have your permission to do so. Would you be ok with me uploading it for STALKER Anomaly? I'll give you full credit for it.
Have you tried contacting the creator on discord? It would be great to have this addon fully adapted for 1.5.1
would love to get such a thing!
