All parts obtained from disassembling weigh 0 (zero). Optional: remove the weight of more crafting categories (tools, repair kits, parts, and upgrades).
I've been trying to get into Anomaly's crafting system, but I don't like the massive inventory management and the notekeeping you'd need, if you wanted to use stashes. This mod lends a hand in that direction.
The main add-on simply makes all parts you gain from disassembling items (and those found lying around) weigh 0 (zero).
There also is an archive called "zero weight crafting". This is a more radical add-on that removes weight for tools, repair kits, parts, and upgrades. You don't have to install all of "zero weight crafting". Before you install, open the archive, then gamedata\configs\items\items and delete the files of the sort of items whose weight you don't want to change. Example: you don't want to change tool weight, then delete items_tools.ltx from the archive before you install the mod.
The DLTX versions requires Moddb.com
Let me know about problems. The only thing I did was substituting all values in inv_weight with inv_weight = 0. I should also be able to make versions for other add-ons without much trouble.
Nice Mod.
There's a way to disable the remove patch animations of the game? because i found frustracting the anim while i remove it..
Hi, there's an old mod that worked on removing unnecessary animations. I don't know what it was called, but I still have the files. In configs/plugins/actor_effects.ltx it edited:
[disguise_tear_patch]
0 = actor_effects.use_weapon(0)
1 = xr_effects.disable_ui_lite_with_imput(db.actor, nil)
550 = level.add_cam_effector('camera_effects\\item_use_fast.anm', 8063, false,'')
1040 = xr_effects.disable_ui_inventory(db.actor, nil)
1460 = xr_effects.play_inv_tear_patch()
3020 = xr_effects.enable_ui_lite(db.actor, nil)
3021 = xr_effects.enable_imput(db.actor, nil)
3023 = actor_effects.use_weapon(1)
And turned it into:
[disguise_tear_patch]
160 = xr_effects.play_inv_tear_patch()
It might still work.
dude.
...DUDE!...
...DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!!!!
I LOVE YOU WITH FOAM @ MY MOUTH! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
I was DESPERATELY searching for a way to disable the (imo) ultra cringey, useless and time consuming animations like repairing, disassembling, etc - but on the same time keep some other animations like skinning animals and healing because those anims are ultra nice with the Food Drug and Drink Animation addon.
1) My biggest beef was with the actor freezing
Lines of code responsible for it: xr_effects.disable_ui_lite.
So just removing that makes the character able to move (it always bothered me that i cannot move while equiping armor, backpacks or helmets OTL).
2)Lines of code responsible for cringy camera drunk-looking: level.add_cam_effector
3)Keeping ONLY the xr_effects.play_inv_ code does exactly what you said.
I can confirm it's working flawlessly with Anomaly 1.5.1 and FDDA v0.8.7c.
Thank you for offering such a clear and specific answer!
*makes gestures of blessing towards you and mumbles some verbal blessings too*
What are the differences between Moddb.com ?
Hi, I hadn't noticed that mod! Depending on which files you use, with my mod you can change the weight of parts, upgrades, tools, and repair kits, with the other mod you can change the weight of parts, upgrades, trash, and patches.
Nice! Have a great day!
