Long story short - I've rebalanced repair items and loot, mostly for better experience playing Hard/Survivalist with WPO 1.4.7.1.
Consider it to be my implementation of Artificial Difficulty Removal.
So, patch contains two files: death_generic.ltx and items_repair.ltx. First modifies loot, second modifies repair items. You can safely overwrite files of original WPO 1.4.7.1 with these ones.
Also you can safely remove one of two files, if you want to play with only loot or repair items modified.
Changelog:
1.0 - Initial release
1.1 - Actually tested what I've done and polished the patch a bit (decreased uses on some kits and halved repair values of items if they are used as additional)
1.2 - Quite a rework of previous version. Default costs left untouched, condition of items on bodies adjusted to be more balanced AND realistic.
What changed?
-- All of repair items (with uses) now kinda different. I've done it to reflect the fact of clearing weapons, not repairing. Glues, oils, solvents are virtually tiered, just to be more... intuition friendly. Outfit repair items was changed too, just to make your life easier a bit. If you want, I can post full list (table?) of changes.
-- Loot condition tables. Novices will drop shitty but still usable and rarely repairable coats and vests, but outfit of master or even legend you definitely can repair. For a price of high-tier repair items, of course, or free, if you already found some.
-- Ammo. This part has always been a struggle, so I've decided to make it more logical. You can find up to magazine of new ammo on body and up to two magazines of old ammo. This is it. Not overcomplicated, not so easy, just it.
Why?
As I said, I've done it all just for MY better experience of playing Anomaly. Friend of mine found my tweaks reasonable and suggested to post it. I'm posting it now.
In original WPO repair items felt a bit off and some of them were too strong for my liking. And I always was dissapointed with outfit repair system. So, changes were made. Loot... I guess, you already know about loot in Anomaly.
What can I say? I'm encouraging you to finding stuff by yourself, repairing it by yourself and upgrading it by yourself. And I WILL be pleased if you'll enjoy this process. Because if not, why you even play Anomaly?
I definitely can't recommend enough to install this patch with Grok's Stash Overhaul and Trader Overhaul. Your overall experience will increase, that's for sure. And play Hard/Survivalist.
Hope you enjoy these little tweaks of mine.
Credits obviously goes to artifax, original uploader, and people who participated in creation of Weapon Parts Overhaul. I'm just a player with desire to play games my way.
Little off-topic: I can post compatibility patch for Dynamic Mutants/Soundscape Overhaul, because I've noticed people struggling with these addons to work together. And I can post my carefully created addon pack, if you want to see it. Of course, with annotations and descriptions of things.

so, we can use repair items more often? Because oh harder difficulty its a pain in the but that you just repair a few times then you gotta give so much money for repair kits... I dont mind them being that expensive, but hotdamn i want to repair more times.
What's your addon pack contain?

Ah Dynamic Mutants and Soundscape had some problems for me too. It kind of resolved itself if I removed Michiko Weather Mod but it is unfortunate I have to do so
I was looking through the different settings with the MCM and noticed a strange drop down box at the bottom of this mods options, labeled "Fun Level". The drop down box defaults with"Duty", with the options of "Loner", and "Freedom".
What does this do exatly? I'm using the "Escape From Pripyat 3.0" Build of Anomaly, so I'm not sure what they have put in these mods as Custom or whats the actual mod. Thought I'd come here and ask, cause search for specifics like this can be difficult for Anomaly add-ons.
There is a setting called "fun level" and there are some faction that I can chose. Duty, Loner and Freedom.
I dont understand what does it do if i select any of these 3
Does anyone have a guide to DIY Patch weapons for WPO?
